Yup. When the Mantis go pirating, they usually go after Crane ships.

Of the major clans with significant coastlines, Crane are the only ones that really do any seagoing trade. Crab ships are usually armored warships so trying to pirate those is a good way to just, you know, die. Phoenix do some seagoing trade but not to the same volume the Crane do (and even then, what are you going to pirate off a Phoenix ship? Scrolls? Religious artifacts?).
