As the skirmish ends, the students all get a better look at the room around them. It is covered in ancient writings, and in front of where Keina was crouched before they interrupted here is a pile of crystals. There are tunnels leading off in different directions as well, all unnaturally shaped.

The crystals, on the other hand, seemed to be of this place. He picks one up to examine more closely.

"Why did you go down here, Keina-san? What did you try to accomplish? You must've known that we could easily catch you!" Kenji said in a serious tone "Speak Up, and Speak True, if there is a sliver of Honor left in you!"

As Ichiro turns the crystal in his hand, it sparkles in the torch light, its various facets catching the beams and giving of a prismatic spray of color. These were clearly once something else and have been shaped into what they are now.

[Kakita Kenji]

"Matsu-san, Utaku-san, let her free, she is disarmed. And after all, she is a Samurai"

[Kakita Kazuko]

They've won... but it doesn't feel like a victory. Not after all the deceit and trickery they've been through. Kazuko's slightly annoyed that she didn't even get to land a single punch, but hopefully the loot they gain is worth it.

"So does anyone have any rope we can use to tie her up? Also does anyone know what this scroll says or what the crystals and rock are for? Say, Keina, you must know. If you tell me the truth, I'll help petition for a lighter sentence..."

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Qiang asked. "Maybe we should tie her up, like Kazuko-san said."

Kazuko frowns, still tense from the... fight? No one actually even got hit, so would it event count as one?

"You would trust her so easily after what she's done? She's a ronin, no longer a samurai. Who knows what she'll do next."

"She is a murderer and will see justice for her crimes."

He still sounded like he very much wanted to be the one to deliver said justice but he kept himself in check for now.

"I,...!" Kenji began. But soon gave in "She did indeed betray us,..."
Kenji looked around, he certantly could't find a rope laying around.
"Trust is the false word, Kazuko-san. I see her still as Samurai, even though she is a wave man. Maybe not everyone treats Bushido like we do"

There was also a decent sized white bird, but with how well it was hiding many may not notice it...

"Sorry, but until we get a rope and you answer my questions, you're staying like that."

Kazuko doesn't look sorry at all as she says that, stretching as she walks in circles to relieve some of her tension and nerves.

Kenji looked around, he certantly could't find a rope laying around.
"Trust is the false word, Kazuko-san. I see her still as Samurai, even though she is a wave man. Maybe not everyone treats Bushido like we do"

"Well, she certainly doesn't. So what do you guys think these crystals do? There's 6, just enough for each of us to have one if we want it. It certainly gives of pretty colors."

Kazuko is too busy looking at the sparkly crystals to notice the fox sneaking around, holding it up to the light to make the colors bounce around.

Ichiro tucked the crystal he had already picked up to examine in his belt pouch as a reminder of the lessons of this night - for good and for ill - perhaps it would yet bring luck.

He was likely too focused on the prisoner to notice the fox and definitely did not look up to see the bird.

"I think... maybe it's time to report this to a teacher," Qiang said slowly, thinking it out. "Then they could get the proper authorities to take our prisoner, and return any thing that was stolen."

[Utaku Ichiro]

Ichiro nods, "This is for the hands of the magistrates now. If Kakita Kenji-san does not enjoy seeing the prisoner in distress perhaps he should go fetch them?"

[Kakita Kenji]

Kenji glared at the Unicorn. But now was not the time for quarrel.
"I want answers as much as you do, Utaku-san, bind her if you must"

Kenji took a look at the crystals, they were pretty indeed, maybe Sakura could work with them?
He took one.

[Utaku Ichiro]

"It's not about answers its about justice. She's a nut who thinks some rock will let her control the earth. She's no shugenja." He shakes his head, "She killed that priest for a fantasy. It's time we stop indulging it."

"If you all think you have her then I'll go".

Ichiro begins to head off to notify the first guard or sensei he sees to send for a magistrate.

Contested Investigation vs Sincerity (Honesty)
If you do not believe someone, you can roll investigation to see if they are being honest with you. Failure by the Investigation roll does not mean the Sincerity roll is not true, but more the Investigation roll not being able to get a good read on how they feel about it. The Sincerity roller can voluntarily fail this roll, letting the investigator see the truth of their statement clearly.

--Note: If OOC a player wants to believe, they do not need to take into consideration the roll and can just accept that they are being told the truth, but remember to look at it through their characters eyes when making the consideration
