Re: Event: Blood Money
Prashant clearly struggles with the man holding him, who's clearly stronger than him, but remembering some of his lessons in unarmed fighting at home, he manages to shift the thug off-balance, gets a hold of his neck, then uses his body as a lever to throw him besides his futon.
Breathing heavily, he takes some steps back, moving towards the centre of the space where the Unicorn were sleeping, then speaks again.
"Nothing's been stolen! How can something be stolen if coin's been given for it?"
The way he says "coin" probably makes it clear that commerce is not something he's particularly well-acquainted with...
OOC
Day 3 Rat - Turn 2 Contested Jiujutsu/ Str to free from Grapple. "TN" 8: 2d10o10k1 9
Complex action to throw thug 3 prone besides Prash's futon.
Free action to move the incredible amount of... 5 ft.
Free action to speak
Still in Defence stance - TN 12 (10 + 2 from Defence stance)

Ichiro's fingers grip tighter into the neck of his assailant as he hears his family member attacked. Unfortunately there was no way to get to her any quicker than eliminating this threat first.

The heimen buckles and collapses as something in his leg pops, the pain bringing him unconscious, his knife falling to the floor.
"Shit. Let's go! Watcher isn't going to be happy."
The un-wounded Heimen tries to flee, running straight into Togashi Dao

Grappled – A character who is participating in a grapple is considered grappled. Characters who are grappled are much easier to hit with attacks, and have their Armor TN reduced to 5 plus any bonuses from armor they are wearing.
All characters involved in the grapple must make a Contested Jiujutsu / Strength Roll. The character with the highest result on this roll is considered to be in control of the grapple until the next character’s Turn. A character who has control of a grapple may do one of the following things on his Turn:
c Hit: As a Complex Action, the character may infl ict normal unarmed damage on any one other participant in the grapple. This damage cannot benefi t from Raises, as there is no attack roll being made. Free Raises can still be applied, however.
c Throw: As a Complex Action, the character may throw one opponent, causing them to become prone anywhere within fi ve feet of the character performing the throw. This removes the thrown character from the grapple.
c Break: As a Simple Action, the character may immediately remove himself from the grapple.
c Pass: As a Free Action, the character may do nothing, choosing to maintain the grapple and retain control.
((Grappled characters, please at the start of your turn, roll the juijutsu/strength check. if you beat the opponent, you have control and may take an action above. If still grappling, then roll another juijutsu/str check to reset the TN for your opponent))

The fleeing peasant ran straight into Dao's open arms. And the Togashi student wasn't happy.
He gripped the assailant around the waist and delivered a devastating belly to belly suplex that ended with a sickening crunch.

"Good job Prash..." Ichiro's compliment is cut off by the very large, very final slam and snap from Dao's opponent. His own grip maintained on his foe's throat.

As the blood pumping through his body starts to cool, Dao looks around at the carnage that had been wrought.
"What were they thinking breaking in here and attacking us?" He mumbled to himself as he gazed down upon thr corpse at his feet with some small twinge of regret.

"They're criminals. Don't know what they thought they'd gain with so many people around to take them down."
Nesrin kicks the one that had stabbed her, even if she'd been hurt worse tumbling off a yurt as a kid. She picks up the knife he dropped. "Gonna get this purified and keep it for luck. The knife that didn't kill me."
"You're ok, Iuchi-san?" Hard to know who all was hurt in the dark scuffle. "And is that you Kokyou-san?" The accent was kind of unmistakable.
