(Day 6, LE) Celebration Feast (Roleplay Thread)

He waved back.

"It's quite nice out here, Bayushi-san."

He nodded. "Yes... Too much happening in there." Then the zoom of the Utaku and then Dao pass by the two. "See..."

Haruki follows up on the comments about the merchant, "what happened to the first batch anyway?"

"That puts my mind at ease a little, could I get a little help with the water? All of the guests need more at once." Haruki then puts 2 yolks on his shoulders once he is at the kitchen doorway.

"As ready as I can be. Just as you are as ready as you can be. We have both trained our best, so there is no question if we are ready, as even if we were not, there is nothing we can do to be ready now. Better to accept that we are and not cloud the mind."

She confused the jigoku out of Eichiro, but he thinks he likes it that way. He tries not to think about it too hard, as an injury of the mind would be detrimental to tomorrow's debates. Still, she seemed to be very much in tune with void, while he was more water as he saw it. Not opposites thankfully, just different. He could, dare he say, adapt.

Eichiro stops in mid drink when the gaze becomes... intense. 'What?' he thinks. It is more difficult to see, but the occasional candle flare does highlight the copper in his right eye if she is looking for something like that.

He sets the cup down carefully, and then turns to her, first with his usual grin that turns into something maybe more quizzical. He doesn't speak, not wanting to ruin the moment but he's not sure what he's supposed to do.

'What? WHAT!?' This was an about face from how she had been earlier, thankfully he had put his drink down or there would be tea everywhere. The combination of coming out and saying it and the matter of fact way that it was said was.. he would never understand her completely.

"Well, I think I do too." he said, not matching her tone exactly, but not being flippant about it. "About you, not about me." He finished, speaking below the dull roar of the room.

"Or give us time to be by ourselves to chose our path." He looked at the full moon. "I would be with my kitten playing games."
