It was time to do something that most samurai would turn up their noses at. But Kenji would become Gokenin, which meant he had to learn how to handle money, it was his duty! So he began to haggle.

"My dear merchant, surely you are aware that this incredible kimono did not find its long way here for nothing, it is surely in your interest that your goods are presented, isn't it? I would be willing to pay 2 koku for this extraordinary kimono."

The merchant says almost instantly.

The merchant looks down her nose at Kenji for a minute with narrowed eyes but then says sharply:

"Done"

And holds out her hand.

Kenji handed her the Required Money.

"It was nice doing business with you, Merchant-san" he said giving her the Honor of a suffix. In a sense that was a battle in itself.

She snatches the money and gives a smile.

"You shall be envied by all who see you! Thank you for your business"

Jun gives an approving nod to Kenji.

"You'd think you had some training at that! Good work!"

"Please let it be deliverd to the Kakita Academy, the servants there will know who i am and where to put it" he said and gave her a Bow.
(Can i add Extravagant Kimono to my inventory?)

"I'm becoming a Gokenin after Gempukku, so i learned how to handle Money in the last year. I'm still not perfect, but i hope to be good enough to do a good service to my lord" he replied to Jun.

Jun nods at Kenji.

"A fine show of your learning, then!"

"Oh thank you" he said for the compliment. Really when a Yasuki Merchant gives you a compliment on that topic it means something.
"Akai hanagasaku-mura is the name of the village i will watch over, it is know for it's colors, if you, after your gempukku, are on your trade travels, i would like to invite you to stop by." Kenji offered Jun.

"Small villages are hard to go to, but perhaps."

[Kakita Kenji]

"It's an offer" he said with a smile.

"I will see what we can do. The Yasuki roam far and wide across the Empire, after all. It is getting late though, I think we should turn in for now. Need to be in top shape for tomorrow!"

"You're right! It was a pleasant encounter Jun-san, you have my thanks" Kenji said with a bow.

The Yasuki returns the bow and offers Kenji his flask one last time.

"One more for the road?"

[Kakita Kenji]

"One more for the road" he answered taking a last sip with the Yasuki.
