"No, though I would assume Akodo Eiko-sama, because why else would he have so drastically punished the Mantis boy?"

"Yes, that would seem logical." He wasn't about to confirm that he had met with Eiko directly just moments before.


"Have you received further communication during this tournament? Or any acknowledgment of your efforts on this entity's behalf?"

"They have not sent any further communications despite both of my failing marks for him."

[Bayushi Jiro]

"Curious." Jiro tilted his head. "Has anyone else approached you about this? Or have things that have seemed odd or out of place happened? Perhaps you have seen the same face in different contexts?"

[Vutall]

"No, nothing odd...other than the rumors. From my own observation I havn't seen anyone out of place either."

[Bayushi Jiro]

"I see. Then, lastly, is there anything you wish me to know, or feel that I ought to know in order to pursue this matter?"

[Vutall]

"Just that if you are to undergo this task, you must not allow anyone to know you are doing so. We cannot let the blackmailer feel threatened so that they enact their blackmail. It would be disastrous."

[Bayushi Jiro]

This inquiry will be problematic in some ways, but I will do what I can to keep the larger issues out of the public eye. Please take care of yourself in the meantime."
