(Day 4, LE) Bar Fight! ((Content Warning: Death, Ritual Suicide))

"Don't heal the downed ronin until the authorities come and secure them properly, we can't let them get away without answering some questions."

The eyes of the Iuchi Shugenja are still a wall of determination as he sees the Ronin turn back, hears the Isawa trying to reason with them then sees them take their Wakizashi and put then to their stomachs. He lowers his eyes for a moment when they do so, and whispers a prayer for their wayward souls.

As the Isawa asks that the other men not be healed, though, his eyes fall on him, confused and concerned.

"Isawa-san, we certainly don't want to let then get away, but respect for those who wronged us is still expected", he says, in an oddly flat tone for those who know him better. He looks at the tables again, looking for table clothes, towels and other items that might be useful for tying them 'and' healing their wounds. He gestures at them to the Isawa, the other Unicorn, then also the other contestants, servants and other patrons. "These could be used to tie them ... But I agree with Kokyou-san. We should heal those who are alive."

He will help tie, then heal those who still breath, considering it's proper for him to do so - otherwise he'll see if one of the servants will tie then, then heal.

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

Ginkarasu gets out from under the table and moves over to behead those who had chosen a method of honor, for maybe the first times in their lives, scooping up one of the katanas on the way.

[Kakita Kenji]

He leaves the shoji with Kenji, face blushed red, to see the ronin dead on the floor, blades crossing them.
He looks for the innkeeper again, this time approaching him.

He left the corner with Aiichiro, first with Red, then pale face.

"What in the nine hells?"

He then realized something.

He grabbed the katana he had thrown away before and joined Kokyou and Ginkarasu.

"I shall politely refute yer recommendation, Kaito-san. We should show compassion t' them now that they 'ave been defeated. I encourage others t' do th' same."

As the 3 wounded Ronin are tied, Prash walks in to care for their wounds. He doesn't heal the Ronin who seppuku'd, out of respect for their final gesture.

Also - are they able to move and talk now? If not, using Battle healing to heal one more rank on those who aren't.

"Anyone got rope? I'm not standing down on securing the prisoner either way. Heal him while I secure if you must."

[Moto Ichiro]

"Healing them is fine but securing them is also essential, there are many questions about why they started this fight. It was no simple tavern brawl. The magistrate will have questions." Ichiro said as he headed back to the group leaving those who had killed themselves to suffer. They didn't deserve a second after what they did but he didn't stop the crane.

[Mai]

Mai lets a few colorful swears when the ronin commit sepukku. She joins the others tying them up. After they are secured, she calls for the kami as none of the other competitors seem too injured.

Haruki takes a tablecloth and ties it swiftly as he sees the shugenja healing. "I swear, this day just gets worse and worse, huh?"

[Mai]

"Well, I'm just glad I'm not involved." For once. "What happened?"

[Vutall]

There are two wounded ronin out of the ten, the rest are all dead. The two wounded are tied up, unconscious. When Mai and Prashant heal them, their injuries close, but they remain unconcious for now, securely tied with tablecloths.

The sake house keeper is too shocked to speak, but motions both to the door and upstairs to where the guests ran, as well as motioning toward the back where there is water and the kitchen.

He nods in thanks to Aiichiro and sullenly walks up the stairs, taking in the sight of all the damage. Without extensive money and repairs, as well as a lot of cleaning and blessings, the Poisoned Water Sake House was likely going to be no more.

Outside of the house, there are shouts as people gather outside around the boulder, words can be heard about the now large pit in the street that the boulder caused, as well as debate on how to move the massive thing.

Haruki looks around for rope or tools, anything really to help with removing the boulder.

"These Ronin entered while many of us contestants were celebrating, asking the innkeeper for a particular type of wine that wasn't available... Then began acting violent towards the patrons, threatening and provoking us. When they drew their swords and came at us, we first defended ourselves as we could... And when they slashed me, Utaku-san and hit Kakita-san particularly hard with their swords, it got really serious. And.... They mentioned someone's name when they tried to run."

He says the last sentence in a lower voice "So... It sounds like this all may have been staged..."

[Kokyou]

"I 'ave done done me part. Securin' these scallywag ain't me duty." Kokyou tells the others that are tying the ronin up with displeasure and moves to get the rock back it where it came from while touching it. Of course, he cleans his blade dry before anything else. After beheading whomever left that committed seppuku.

At Kokyous touch, the boulder moves back slowly, as if the earth was grabbing it an moveing on its own, like water flowing into a hole.

Immedietly after the stone is gone, there are two Doji Magistrates that rush to the door, swords drawn. Seeing the four corpses near the doorway however, they stop and do not enter, instead calling out:

"What has happened here?!"

[Mai]

"Damn. Were they targeting anyone? I don't think the Crane would let a bunch of violent ronin in. So, they had to pass as acceptable at least."

[Iuchi Prashant]

"I... Don't know, Mai-san. I don't think they were targeting anyone in particular... Maybe all the contestants..."

After the men are healed, Prash walks towards the door. This was his doing, and he was thinking of a way to undo it.

Then Kokyou suddenly does it

Prash's brows raise a bit, but he just mutters an "Arigato gozaimasu, Kokyou-san" as he tries to make sense of that.

"These ronin were getting angry and when they heard something they didn't like, they attacked us with swords. There's more to our story, but first we need to get everyone to safety."
