(Day 3, EM) All fun and games until someone gets hurt..

[Kitsuki Asahi]

"Kitsuki Asahi." he introduced himself with a smile. "I've been making a number of new friends, in some unusual ways."

[Toritaka Sasaiko]

There's a bit of a chuckle.

"Often the best ways, though. Certainly more memorable, and that's a good quality in a friend."

(Asahi-san, would it be alright to say we got to know each other when playing the drinking games with the Tanuki?)

[Utaku Ichiro]

Ichiro, headache cleared, finally recognizes there is a new face among them. He bows respectfully.

"Well met, Kitsuki-san. I am Utaku Ichiro, currently of the Unicorn but betrothed to the Togashi."

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

"Thank you, Toritaka-san." He replies. Not having much to add on the marriage discussion, he decides it's a good time to leave. "I'm making my way to the inn now. Don't want to lose the morning meals. Anyone going with me?"

[Miya Wyn]

"It's been a good few months...till some trickster spirits drug our tea last night at least"

[Toritaka Sasaiko]

"Ah. Fortunate that was all that happened, then. Such 'tricks' as many of them play are...not."

[Miya Wyn]

"Hai...creatures of other realms and ghosts...it should be a very interesting time, it is almost as if our presence together has against drawn the supernatural to us, like in Hirosaka"

[Toritaka Sasaiko]

She raises an eyebrow at him.

"Oh, Miya-sama? If I may, has there been another such?"

[Miya Wyn]

He nods, "I have had two interactions with the formal Emerald Champion in as many days"

[Toritaka Sasaiko]

"Two? I only had the one, and that in a group."

[Kitsuki Asahi]

"Ghosts?" Asahi looked at the others with curiosity.

[Utaku Ichiro]

Ichiro nods, "I have only had the one, shared, visit as well. The deceased Emerald Champion came with a request."

[Toritaka Sasaiko]

"Hitoshi?"

[Miya Wyn]

"Hai, I believe his father has slighted the Crane in some way. Satsume was afraid that his family might take it out on the boy, and treat him unfairly, and requested that we make sure he does not fail because of unjust actions, and thus bring shame to the Crane."

[Toritaka Sasaiko]

"That seems...oddly specific for a spirit. But I will not doubt your word, Miya-sama; you have had more contact than I."

[Utaku Ichiro]

Ichiro rubs his chin, "Honestly I just assumed Satsume was his father. Why would a shiryo watch over one not of his lineage."

[Miya Wyn]

He shakes his head, "Satsume-Domo would never father a Mantis child, that would be impossible. He is looking over his lineage, the Crane and making sure they are not doing anything unhonorable" He shrugs, "though I am no expert in Shiryo its possible I misunderstood the message"

[Toritaka Sasaiko]

"Without another encounter, I could not say--and I have some expertise in the matter.

"But I have to agree with Miya-sama's interpretation." At least for the moment.

[Utaku Ichiro]

I mean it's pretty simple for a Crane to father a Mantis, you just....
