"That's quite curious... I'll ask him later what he saw if I have the time, there could be more going on than meets the eye. Anything else fun happen?"

"They don't want to throw me in battle as I'm a child technically, with all implications that come with it, like all I got for inheritance going into the hands of the Phoenix. I would first need to be an adult on my own to get an unit properly, although I have been doing most other officer tasks."

"That sounds good. So I guess Topaz is making the future soft for both of us? Though I honestly didn't expect to become a Gokenin, in my head were only Yojimbos duellists"

"Besides, you have already fought your first battle before the Gempukku! How many of your Kohai in Shiru Kaiu can say that?"

"But I do! I put the utmost effort on being excelent to them!" He replies. "I just think sometimes they may overestimate me. Which would be nasty if it happened. I'm not even an adult, I shouldn't receive that much. But of course I'm never ever saying any of that to my betters." He says. "And I believe I told you what the Hida gempukku was before?"

"Thank you." He replies simply. "Is there tea for us two, too?" He asks, looking at the table still. "I may teach you some mathematics if you don't mind. If you started percentages, I know a good old trick for anyone who has to calculate rent. I just have it on mind due to it being practical overall too on any kind of proportions."

"I'd love to" Kenji replied, "Tea should be there for you, I have instructed the servants to prepare some popular sorts from the crab lands,... Speaking of which, do you have a favorite tea?"
