(Day 1, LM) Count Your Coin

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

"Thanks for the haggling. I was really not complaining and wouldn't like to pass that impression." He says, looking at the Yasuki.

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

A nod. "Hai, hai, thank you for letting me. It's a small way to help my friend and the clan."

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

The forge was visible from afar. And busy. He frowned. "Will have to take them out."

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

"Uhm. Like, ask them to leave? We're not declaring war right?"

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

He took his fan to look more craney and stepped up the small set of stairs that led to the forge area. Waiting some seconds so he could be noticed.
"I call over for your attention." He says loud and clear, waiting for heads to turn around before continuing. "The competitors of the Topaz Championship require to make use of this forge on the remaining of this morning. All of you that are not working on a direct request spoken to you by Kakita Toshimoko-sama himself are required to leave. You may come back as afternoon breaks through."

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

Ginkarasu's confused a bit, but supposes that such is what you do with status.

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

Everyone leaves but exactly one woman who was working on an armor piece. There were many forges, so that wouldn't be a nuisance. Just a small surprise.
He notices Ginkarasu's face.
"What's up?"

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

He shakes his head, "Just surprised at your authoritative voice."

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

"Have been training it. Thank you." He says, reaching for the protection gear. Far more used and dirty than the dojo's, but existent. "Didn't think of me that way?"

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

"Kind of forgot that we're not going to be kids anymore. Or well, I'm not." He nods a little, since Aiichiro had done the Kaiu thing.

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

"If you want to come any close to the forge, take your apron and earplugs. If you don't know how to wear them, I can be of help."

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

A quick nod, then he looks for an apron and earplugs. "I've never worn either!"

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

"What? Not even the earplugs on your day off?" He seems surprised.

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

"My duty is primarily about staying aware of your surroundings at all times. Earplugs would make it difficult to do so, though I think I understand when working at an anvil. Why would you wear them on your day off?"

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

"Not to wake up when the machines ring. Living in Shiro Kaiu is a lot of noise. Not only the engines, it is inside the Wall. Guess you can't relate." He approaches the forge, analyzing it. Fire was left ablaze on all forges. He didn't bother on it now, people would come back soon.

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

"Ah! Yeah! That makes sense! Though how do you wake up if there's an alarm?" He starts talking much louder, getting the earplugs in.

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

"You don't. That's why I only get them when I'm very tired. It's important to stay on guard, but Shiro Kaiu rarely breaches."

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

He gives the crab hand sign for 'understood.'

Then moves to one side so he doesn't get in the way of the work that's to be done.

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

He puts all the iron he carried with himself until now into the fire.
"It also gets very hot. Taking a bath after this."

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

He takes a couple steps further away, just in case.
