Fishing Ravens (Expecting)

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

He sets aside some rocks he could call throwable.
"Do you know any good places for throwing rocks inside the dojo?"

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

He shakes his head. "Too many paper walls. I kept looking, but you'd have to throw against the exterior wall, and I doubt it's a Kaiu made wall that you'd know it's safe to do so."

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

He looks to the side, to one of the dojo walls, and says in a lower tone.
"What if we went outside? It's the last day. I don't think they would care." He suggests. "This is the most dangerous part is the town anyway."

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

He looks over at the dojo wall.

"I'm no good at sneaking. And I'd probably get us lost, or late to one of the events. I could never forgive myself if I made you late!"

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

He returns his attention to Ginkarasu. He thought in hitting him, but taking him distracted would be dishonorable and announcing an attack would break the timing.
Aiichirō opened his mouth to talk again, but closed it right after.

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

"I mean, we'd probably go out there, someone would be in trouble, and we couldn't just say no to helping them, that's what compassion's all about. And what if the trouble is big enough that we can't make the closing ceremony?" He shakes his head, "That'd be all kinds of bad."

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

"Ah no, I wouldn't contest that things could go wrong. I just found it interesting that you think you would get me into trouble and that was your main concern." He replies.
"Maybe we won't travel together for the championship."

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

A nod. "It's possible. A lot can happen in a year. And I don't know where I'll be starting from. But I'll write!"

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

"And I will reply." He says. "I haven't been able to find any good stones so far. What about you?"

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

"Would have to break some open to know for sure, but no good throwers."

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

"What do you use to break them? Just throw at the ground?"

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

"I mean, I prefer a good piton and a hammer. But if you're strong enough, a tougher rock works." He responds. "I'm rubbish at knowing which ones are good for it, but sometimes you can find colored crystals that way."

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

"I was going to suggest using a chisel, but that is good too." He nods. "Crystals and the rocks they appear near too are related. I don't know much about it either. Never specialized in geology."

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

"One of my sensei's has it as a hobby. Says Earth holds more beauty and surprises then those who focus on the other elements give it credit for." He shrugs slightly. "Rest of the sensei's are much more focused on Air. But she is one of my favorites, so I work hard to understand."

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

"None of my sensei give Air too much notice." He replies. "But the one I call Kaiu-sensei is the one who teaches the basics of all disciplines and the one I passed more time with. Other than her I too learned a lot with other people, some of them not even sensei."

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

He nods at that. "Sometimes it feels like the other students teach us the most."

[Kaiu Aiichiro]
