Tournament preparation pt.2 (Expecting)

[Kakita Kenji]

The letter was ready, the gift prepared and the hope was great. Kenji waited for Kazuko to hand everything over to Doji Sensei to get the permission for the tournament.

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

After a well deserved bath, he went to search for Ginkarasu, but found Kenji first. Well, that works, too. He approached the Kakita and bowed.

[Kakita Kazuko]

Kazuko runs over to Kenji upon spotting him with a smile as wide as the difference between Jigoku and Tengoku, ecstatic at the thought of their plans finally coming to fruition.

"Hey, Kenji-san, I'm ready for us to give the gift to Doji sensei. How did your training go today by the way?"

[Kakita Kazuko]

After a well deserved bath, he went to search for Ginkarasu, but found Kenji first. Well, that works, too. He approached the Kakita and bowed.

"Oh hey Aiichiro, would you like to join us? We're about to go deliver the letter to Doji sensei."

[Kakita Kenji]

Kenji had just finished bowing aiichiro as a greeting when he saw Kazuko, his heart jumped a little. "Hey Kazuko-san! Yeah, I'm ready, hopefully get this through. Will you join us, Aiichiro-san?" he smiled, hopefully they get everything they needed.

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

"Oh, I see. I will mostly stay by the background not saying much. I think. I'm not really on the etiquette thing." He replies hem both, bowing to Kazuko as well. "So, is everything ready for us to go?"

[Kakita Kenji]

"I believe we have everything we need. But we should think about putting it off until the day after tomorrow, because Sakura-san needs time to make the price. It's a bit sad that there was so much to do yesterday, but there's nothing we can do about that now," Kenji suggested.

He took the mochi he had bought yesterday. A memory came to his mind, but he quickly discarded it. The image of Yogo-san turning into a apestill haunted him. It shook him. Magic wasn't his strong suit.

[Kakita Kazuko]

"I believe we have everything we need. But we should think about putting it off until the day after tomorrow, because Sakura-san needs time to make the price. It's a bit sad that there was so much to do yesterday, but there's nothing we can do about that now," Kenji suggested.

"I am fine with that, but we shouldn't delay it too long or else participation might dwindle. You look a little distracted, Kenji-san. What's on your mind?"

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

"I understand. We should indeed not delay too much, because we only have four days left." He went to talk more, but upon hearing Kazuko's words he stopped to give Kenji a space to talk.

[Kakita Kenji]

"I agree, but one day delay will be needed, otherwiese me might not have a prize" Kenji replied

After Kazuko and Aiichiro questin him, he kind of wanted to share his troubles, but was that the right time?

"It's,.... well,... i have seen something,... weird? But we should focus on the meeting with Doji-sensei, i promise to tell you later."

They arrived at the Sensei Quarters, searching for Doji Muragshige.

[Vutall]

She is sitting inside, writing something at her desk.

She notices the students and pointedly finishes her writing before waving them in.

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

He bowed to the ground, forehead touching dirt, then looked at Kazuko and Kenji, waiting for them to make the first advance, but his eyes soon got distracted by the woman again.

[Kakita Kenji]

Kenji bowed just like Aiichiro.
"Doji-sensei, how did this day greet you?"

[Vutall]

"Well, and what do I have the pleasure of seeing the entire Crane student body for?"

[Kakita Kenji]

"We come with a humble request to Doji-sensei. We want to organize a student games tournament. Since we don't want to steal Agasha-sama's time unnecessarily, we wanted to contact you. We believe that we can only give our cause enough weight if someone with your skill brings our cause forward." Kenji said, bowing again.

[Vutall]

"The evenings are yours to do as you see fit, I do not know why you need me involved in this?"

[Kakita Kenji]

"I,..." Kenji got a little nervous. Had he misjudged everything? Or was this a test?

"Since this is a tournament, I was sure we needed Agsha-sama's permission, Doji-sensei."

[Vutall]

"Have any of the sensei questioned what the students here have chosen to do with their free time during the hour of the Dog since you have been here, Kakita-san?"

[Kakita Kenji]

"No, Doji-sensei" Kenji pressed his forehead to the ground. This was emberassing. He even asked an imperial.

She looks at the other students with Kenji, expectantly.
