The Unicorn could lead to some kolat shenanigans. Imperial to some coup shenanigans. Crane seems fun too. Minor Clans they could puppet at will? What a dream.

Has there been confirmed Kolat-ness for the Unicorn in the new canon? I was hoping that, at least in its extremes, would be one of the things they fixed.

And, yeah, the Kolat are the anti-Kami conspiracy though, in old canon, they end up just being all about personal control and power.

They could always hire if they want them for a specific task. I'm going Minor Clans.

The Scorpion offer a great deal of Koku to the Crab, with a slightly smaller portion to the Crane. They also send some to the Dragon, and a small pittance to the Unicorn, Non-Mantis Minor Clans, Imperial Families, and Ronin crime lords within their cities. The Mantis, Lion, and Phoenix recieve barely any, but still are able to gain some koku.
