Ginkarasu and Mochi? Maybe? Or is it Training Time (Barracks)

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

He shakes his head. "Just a little left now. But no, it's not my first time. Been here each day so far. Don't know what I'll do when they're all gone."

[Yogo Otoko]

"Well, if your family's teachings are all about commerce... perhaps you could try making something to sell? Like... origami or pillow books?" Is that what people bought?

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

He shakes his head, "Thought of that. Can't promise that it'd be good enough. And trying to trade favors has so far led to some getting mochi for free. Been two days and training and time I was promised hasn't happened."

[Yogo Otoko]

Otoko sat still another long moment. "...What about your services then? Helping others with tasks is little different than providing a good for them."

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

"Might work. Thank you for the idea. Have to be cautious though. We're not mercenaries, and I am trained to be a bushi." He fidgets slightly.

"Have you done anymore kyujutsu?"

[Yogo Otoko]

"I meant menial things, like carrying stuff, or getting a cat down from a tree." She was used to making people fidget, but she was still sorta thoughtful... sometimes. "I have not picked up a bow again yet, no. I have been trying to meditate on the tests more, to see if it helps my focus."

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

He looks up at that. "I've enjoyed meditation. Kitsuki-sensei is really good at it. She showed me this style where you leave your eyes open. It's really hard to not focus on anything."

[Kakita Kenji]

Kenji urgently had to get some mochi for Agasha-Sama before there were none left, besides, he hadn't talked to Ginkarasu-san for a while and felt bad, after all he considered him his friend.

So Kenji searched for the young Yasuki and could find him promptly, after all it wasn't very difficult to find Ginkarasu's market stall.

However, he seemed to be talking at the moment, so Kenji took a proper distance and waited to be called.

[Yogo Otoko]

"I am still not very good at meditation, but practice makes perfect, as they say. I do not mind doing so with my eyes closed." Seeing Kenji out of the corner of her eye, she gave a seated bow and gave a circumspect motion forward.

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

Ginkarasu bows. "Ah! Kakita Kenji-san! Do you and Yogo Otoko-san know each other?"

[Kakita Kenji]

Kenji came closer and bowed "Yes, I know her"

He looked at Ginkarasu "How have you been these past few days?"

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

"Good! Lots and lots of cleaning. Not as much training as I'd like, but okay." He smiles a bit. "Yourself?"

[Kakita Kenji]

"Too much trouble for my own good" he said with a smile. "Remember our little tournament idea?"

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

A nod. "Yeah! Is it going to happen?"

[Kakita Kenji]

"We need to ask for Permission, and i wanted to gift her something. So i need a small present for Agasha-Sama and i thought about gifting her one of your Mochi, if there are any left."

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

He nods eagerly. "There's a matcha and a white bean left."

[Kakita Kenji]

"I would like to take both, if their not sold to Yogo-san already" Kenji said

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

He nods, "Okay! Returning customer pays less." He smiles a bit at that, finally getting to say it.

[Kakita Kenji]

"Great!"
Kenji pulled out a stick of coins with two Bu and five Zeni on it
"Five zeni is for the mochi. The rest is a modest donation to the wall."
Kenji waited to see how his friend would react, hopefully enough coins to make Ginkarasu's ancestors proud.

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

Ginkarasu looks at the coins, and then at Kenji.

"Uhm. Okay." He pinches his cheek briefly, "Okay! Yeah! I'll make sure I send along your name too! That's almost as much as I'd gotten with all the other mochi!"

He grins, "Wow! That's awesome Kenji-san!"
