For the two mandatory training events each day, students must wear their Student Clothes and sandals, nothing more. Any items you may have otherwise (Like the Tengu Cloak for example) cannot be worn.

For Meishodo Shugenja:

if you make the talismans during the event itself, then use the event TNs and those count as rolls for the event
if you use pre-created meishodo with stored spells, automatic successes and no chance for bonuses
if you create meishodo outside of anywhere other than the event thread, normal TNs

You can stay out all night. The guards arnt checking the inside of the barracks to give you all privacy, so they won’t know you are missing. Then once people are up and going in and out, they arnt keeping tabs

I might be confused on the Exceptional Success/ Free Raise rule

My understanding was that if you get exceptional success <TN +10> you get a free raise on THAT Roll, which could be used for anything that a raise could be used for on that roll. Many cases that may be a waste if raises don't mean anything on the roll.

It seems some people are understanding that getting +10 TN on Roll A allows a free raise on a FUTURE roll, aka -2 TN to roll B.

Are these transferrable because I did not think they were?

Figured I would ask for clarification to make sure we were all on the same page.
