Some time with a lovely Jade (open)

[Doji Sakura]

"Eh?"

Blink blink.

"Ehhh?"

She went very very red at this, hiding her face.

"W-w-why me?"

[Zashi]

"Well, it's hardly a formal proposal Sakura-chan. I'm sure you're family is not exactly overeager at a Fox coming for a bride." Zashi's smile is more gentle.

"Why? Well that's an easy: apart from being beautiful, and obviously brilliant and creative craftswoman, and are wonderful to chat with? You have this air, this love of life that seems to radiate like the embers of the forge."

[Doji Sakura]

Sakura looked down at her hands shyly, not sure how to answer that. It wasn't something she'd ever thought about.

After a few moments, she said quietly "I'm just a weaponsmith Zashi-san, but thank you. You are too kind...a-and you're a lovely person too. Very full of life and love and joy."

[Zashi]

"Not just." Zashi traces a finger along her cheek. "You're all those things I mentioned and I'm sure there is more I have not seen yet. I don't know who told you that you're just one thing."

Zashi beams. "I can see it, even if you can't."

[Doji Sakura]

Sakura blushed again. He was touching her!

"A-ano...thank you..." she didn't dare look at him, taking a few moments before adding "I s-should get back on with the work" and quickly moving back to the forge.

[Zashi]

Zashi tries to keep the same cheerful expression but it frays slightly around the edges. "I would hate to see that project be side tracked." Zashi moves to go.

"I'll come back tomorrow to check on your progress, assuming I'm still welcome."

[Doji Sakura]

"Huh?" Sakura was confused, peeking back over her shoulder "ano...why wouldn't you be welcome?"

[Zashi]

"If I was bothering you." A ghost of a smile becomes more genuine. "If I'm not, I certainly want to see what you're working on...and even if I am as well, it would just be more polite."

[Doji Sakura]

"You were not bothering me! I just...I don't know. I'm not good with...things" Sakura looked away shyly "but...you can stay...y-you're welcome."

[Zashi]

"I can stay without saying things. They tend to make you blush a lot, and I probably would have to stop saying things because I like saying things that make you blush because it's super cute." Zashi babbles. "Alright, being silent for a while now"

[Doji Sakura]

Sakura laughed, shaking her head.

"Sometimes I don't understand what you're trying to say. I'm happy for you to stay as long as you won't be in danger of getting hurt Zashi-san. I like your company, and you're part of the project now I feel. You've been here since the start after all."

[Zashi]

Zashi perches, pointing to closed lips and leans back. The redhead stretches and shuts their eyes too, a small smile remaining as Zashi simply enjoyed the moment

[Doji Sakura]

Sakura smiled going back to her work. The sound of the Jade being worked on started to fill the room. After a short while, a different sound started to be heard - Sakura began to hum and sing quietly to herself as she worked. She had a soft voice, but a musical one.
