The moon makes it easy to pick her way along the walls to the spot they'd chosen beside the stables. Sleepy horses moving would cover any noise they made...with any luck. The hard part was making it across the bright yard without being seen by the guards at the gate. She watched, and waved the rest to dash across from one building to the next while the guards' eyes were elsewhere, letting someone else take the task for the next dash.

When (if) they got to the wall, Nesrin scurried up as easily as the squirrels she'd been watching all day. No trying to show off fancy holds tonight.

[Moto Ichiro]

Ichiro arrived in his darkest hides that were best for sneaking. He nodded to Nesrin with a mischevious smile as they stalked silently through the camp. He pulled a rope out of his pack and made a loop throwing it over the wall a few times before it caught something.

Then he scaled the wall with ease barely breaking a sweat.

Although he knew he should rest and prepare for tomorrow Ichiro was damned if he was going to let the others mock him for not going along with the plan

Although stealth was not his strong suit he was nimble and he was quick and he made it to the wall without being seen.

After all the training his arms were sore and tired but he was Unicorn and he would not be daunted. He managed to scale the wall without any outer display of effort.

[Iuchi Prashant]

Prash was the last one to get to the meeting point, and he quickly greets the others with a quick smile on his face as he arrives.

Sneaking around was not really something he had done much as a child, either in training or otherwise. He did remember playing hide and seek with his sisters and friends a few times, though - even if it was a long time ago. He tried to be really careful, and managed to get to the wall without being seen as well.

And there he was. Another wall to climb. The first one today hadn't gone so well.. but he had his comrades besides him now!
He was the last to go, and looked at the wall for some time, as if focusing or trying to find some determination to actually do it.

But when he actually gets to the wall, he does it just fine. There they were! All four Unicorn students ready to run free!

He smiles at the others again, silently, and makes a "we did it" gesture and face, waiting for the next step.

[Utaku Ichiro]

Having gone with the flow of the others he really had not given much thought as to what would happen after they escaped.

Once they were a safe distance from the wall he looks to the rest, his voice still low just in case, "So, where to?"

[Utaku Nesrin]

"We were supposed to replace someone's liquor, right?" Nesrin looks around the dark street they're standing on. "Market's closed, I'd think. So...sake house or one of the inns?" She frowns slightly. "Did anyone get a see any of those on the way in?"

[Moto Ichiro]

Ichiro shook his head "didn't get a good look myself but I'm sure they can't be too hard to find."

[Utaku Ichiro]

"Didn't notice one in particular but they'd be by either gates or docks I'd imagine. I think I heard there's a brewery too somewhere."

[Utaku Nesrin]

The girl nods, then looks up. "Wait a minute...we were going to do this on rooftops, no? Bet we can see better where to go that way too. Ought to be able to find docks and brewery by smell alone!"

[Iuchi Prashant]

"Looking for the docks or a brewery by rooftops sounds good to me!"

[Utaku Ichiro]

Ichiro laughs, "Just be careful Prash. We have a spare Utaku and we have a spare Ichiro but you're the only Prashant or Iuchi. They'll notice if you go missing."

[Iuchi Prashant]

The boy laughs heartily. "Weeeell I'd certainly miss any of you, so let's try and make sure we all come back unscathed from our scouting!"

[Utaku Nesrin]

"We'll take care not to lose our only shugenja," Nesrin says almost solemnly. She rummages in a small pouch for a moment and pulls out a round and polished pebble of quartz shot through with streaks of amethyst purple. "You can hold onto my lucky stone tonight if you want."

Regardless of wether or not he does, she looks the wall over and finds a spot that looks easy to climb, doing so with ease. "Toss me the rope, Ichiro-san!"

(not sure if climbing rolls are needed here since we can basically try til we get it, but there's one for me and with a rope and people to haul, it should be easy to all end up on the roof.)

(we're climbing again for some rooftop traveling instead of just escaping now. But it looks like we're aiming for brewery or a sake house by the docks. I'm going with the latter for greater chance of being open, and admiring the view up here.)

[Moto Ichiro]

The moto boy smirked and nodded in agreement with the group "Let's try and get everyone back in one piece!" He says before going to the same roof top as Nesrin and jumping hard almost effortlessly vaulting onto the rooftop.

"If my sensei found out about this he'd be dragging me behind his horse for a week." The large boy said with a laugh and a wide smile looking out over the town from the rooftop and back to Nesrin "its not too bad up here, kind of wide open."

He looked down to the rest "come on up!" He said kneeling and reaching down to them

Sparring, climbing, throwing, archery, climbing again... it was finally starting to add up and Ichiro, begrudgingly takes the hand of his clan mate to aid him in ascending.

[Iuchi Prashant]

Prash is clearly very happy with Nesrin's offer - and perhaps even more so seeing his clansmates' teamwork and support. If nothing else, this would be a great lesson in companionship and cooperation!

He places his hand on Nesrin's arm, nods with a grateful smile, gets her lucky charm, and holds it in his own hands for a moment. "May your charm share its luck with all of us tonight, Nesrin-san! Thank you!"

He then sees the others statiing to climb again, and gets to the rooftops himself with incredible ease, getting there in a split moment and looking back to see if Utaku Ichiro still needs help.

"We'll all do fine! Let's go!", He says, smiling excitedly.

"You're welcome, Iuchi-san. With your bonds to the spirits, you're probably better luck all by yourself, anyway."

She nods to the Moto. "It's not the plains, or even the hills, but it's kind of pretty all on its own." She grins. "And yeaaaah, I'd be shoveling out the stables for weeks if I snuck out. But there's enough riding back home that I never needed to sneak out for more." Watching Utaku Ichiro get hauled up, she offers a sympathetic chuckle. "Told you that bow would take it out of you, and you don't have the kami springing your step to help like Iuchi-san here."

Straddling the highest point, she looks out over the dark city, with all its smokes and little fires and here and there a slinking cat in silhouette on roof or wall. "I think that looks like water there, where the moon reflects a bit," she points. "Docks?"
