Journey!
One as the crow flies, the other as more appropriate!

This is how far my character has had to travel to get here. It has probably taken many months! While Rokugan's maps are always "subjective and never sure," the creators of this map made it as if it was 1000 x 700 miles, and that every square is 10x10 miles.

EDIT:
Wow it did not take months at all!
1 day to get to Castle of the Fox on foot
4 hours to get to the port that never sleeps
7 hours to get to water music village
6 hours to get to wall above the ocean village
13 hours to get to daughter village
2 hours to get to esteemed palaces of the crane
9 hours from palaces to otosan uchi
2 days 17 hours nonstop. I'll just assume he stayed at each stop for at least a day or two
