Sakura was indeed confused, but not by that. She followed, quietly, hoping the other girl or guy or person was not some brutish Crab type. They didn't seem it!

Envious of how good the girl was at sneaking, Shiso followed, hoping his own ability to be quiet and unassuming would be enough.

The two students slip in unnoticed, though Sakura was much quieter than Soshi. Luckily, a shout from the back covering up the loudness of the Scorpion.

Inside the building was a lot of drunk and rough looking men all gathered around small tables, some tossing dice, some playing mahjong, some having a drink.

You won't have too long until the guard comes back with more since you lied to him and the boss wasn't actually looking for him.

Sakura looked at the games, fascinated, and leaned in closer to her stealthiness buddy to whisper "do you know how to play these games?"

[Soshi Shiso]

"I wanna learn! I wanna know how to cheat! I mean, how others cheat!" Shiso was looking just for that, getting the hunch of the rules and how they can be circumvented - and were being circumvented right now.

[Vutall]

The easiest to observe is the dice game. One person rolls, and immediately covers the dice with a cup and the people betting say Odd or Even. Then, the cup is lifted, and whoever guessed right doubles their bet.

"Cheat?" Sakura looked confused "shouldn't you learn how to play before learning how to cheat? Also isn't cheating...really bad? You should try to win correctly."

She peered closer. Are they just playing odd and even with dice? Now the girl looked even more confused.

[Soshi Shiso]

"We should try playing that with other students." Shiso was undeterred by the discouragement for cheating, already making plans. He was wondering if anyone was cheating at the dice table.

[Doji Sakura]

"Do you have dice? We could practice to understand how to play before doing it with the others" Sakura whispered back, creeping closer to one of the tables

"Nope. Do you think it's hard to get a set?" Shiso shrugged.

Shiso would be prepared for the return, with rope and all, but something would go horribly wrong...

"I don't* Sakura shook her head "maybe you could ask for one, or try to win one."

Shiso nodded, and stepped out of the shadows, bellowing out.

"Who has a set of dice to spare?"

As Soshi Shiho goes to climb down the rope leading into the dojo interior he slips and falls (Take 2k1 damage), the noise of the impact alerting one of the guards who comes quickly to investigate.

You must make a Sincerity (Deceit) / Awareness roll at TN 7. Upon failure, the guard notices the rope laying next to you and takes both you and the rope to one of the sensei, resulting in a loss of 2 dojo points for sneaking out.

[Soshi Shiso]

Shiso fell down... hard. Stars showed to them before they dimmed and lit up again. Thumping in their ears was joined by some noise and pervasive pain in his back.

"It was... an athletics... practice!" They lied to the coming guard in voice that was more shout of pain than excuse, through tears.

The guard is quick to see through the lie.

“Come, let’s get you to a sensei. That was a nasty fall.”
