Faced with the very real prospect that the ninja might get away, Jiro begins to lay the groundwork for the 'splainin' that they're going to have to do.

"Kuso!" Jiro cursed aloud. "He tried to murder me!"

He continued to pursue the ronin at break-neck speed.
