[D5, EE] Organising a Gift

[Kakita Kenji]

"It was rather scary" Kenji laughed a bit "You know, being only armed with a dull practice sword, deep inside the earth, fighting Ronin,.... But yes, Hirosaka was exciting for sure" he browsed a bit. "An impressive one, of course. It's my Gempukku, so i want to leave a good impression"

"I can only imagine. Did you get to explore the city at all? How big was it? What did it look like?"

The Yasuki begins to walk through the House of the Exotic to find a kimono vendor.

[Kakita Kenji]

"No, Agasha-sama organized Guards to watch the Entrance, and after a few days the Zokujinn attacked, after that the Shgenja tried to close the Entrance, but couldn't. Now, i belive, a Expedition Force will be gathered to explore it. Wich is for the better,.. no one knows what horros lay deep below there that could endanger the empire"

"Ah, that's a shame. But to be part of that expedition would be something quite spectacular!"

[Kakita Kenji]

"It would be for sure. aybe i will be invited to these forces? As i was one of the few who discovered it? We'll see what the future has in store for us" Kenji said.

"Wouldn't that be an honor!"

The two are able to find an exotic clothier shop which uses materials not known to Rokugan. There are several beautiful kimono's on display using the cloth, all in vibrant colors reminiscent of the Ivory Kingdoms.

[Kakita Kenji]

"It certantly would!" he said.

Upon reaching the Clothing store, Kenji gawked at the beautiful display. As a Duelist he wasn't always wearing the nicest clothes and, even if he owned some Kimonos, he never owned one that was really, really impressiv or well made.

"These are just wonderful" he said under his breath

"Quite vibrant. I havn't seen ones like them before"

Jun takes out his flask again and takes a sip, offering it over to Kenji

[Kakita Kenji]

"I never saw something so, so,... vibrant before!" he said, accepting the flask and taking a sip from it.

"Why not pick one out then! I'm sure you'd be the talk of the ceremony!"

[Kakita Kenji]

"Alright then" he answered.

Kenji approached the vendor: "Konbanwa Merchant, this one is Kakita Kenji, i like your Kimonos there Beautiful!" he greeted the Lady sitting in front of the stall.

Kenji browsed through the Kimonos, they were just stuning! He would take all of them, but unfortunatly, he needed to decide. He settled down between two Kimonos.
The first one had a more classical cut, and was more in line with the Crane clan colors it being a mixture of paerly white, light and dark blue and artwork itched into it that really stood out. The other was more exotic and combined the colors of Orange, Jade and white. Both were fantastic and an eyecatcher.

He looked over to Jun for advice.

"I like the orange one, personally. It is bold!"

Kenji thought about if there was anything speaking against this Kimono (Should i roll something?, Like Etiquette?)

((It's just a bit...garish...for Rokugani taste. Lots of courtiers may poke fun of Kenji for how strange and bright it is. Nothing bad though. Just regular court gossip))

[Kakita Kenji]

"It is, it is,.... but given how poor my performance on the topaz was, I would rather not become the talk of the courtiers." he said and layed down the Orange Kimono and choose the more traditional one.

The more traditional colored kimono was still made from exotic material and the dye was intense in color, but not nearly as garish.Kenji would likely be safe from any sort of gossip.

The merchant looks over and smiles

"Ah, a good look for you, Kakita-san. Are you interested in that one?"

[Kakita Kenji]

"Yes, i am, Merchant" he answerd.

"What an excellent choice. I got the textile from the Silk Road, said to have traveled from far away in the Ivory Kingdoms. The dye and silks used are not found here in Rokugan. A good eye for quality, Kakita-san. I would say that would be....5 koku."

[Kakita Kenji]

Kenji was a bit versed in the Art of Commerce, looking over it he judges if the Kimono really was worth 5 Koku. (Rolling commerce?)
