This, though, counts differently, then?

For the feast thread, because we will be seated by clan order. Does that mean for example a Phoenix clan member couldn't talk with a Dragon or it would be pretty rude (talking really loud to get heard.)

For the archery competition, the rolls are not considered combat for purposes of kata (and other combat things). Are they also not considered an attack? I'm specifically looking at Battle Maiden tech, but it affects other bushi tech as well.
