It is a lore thing. The Kakita are recognized by their Swordsmiths. Perhaps they make entire daishos too, but even then katana and wakizashi are only worn by the samurai.

Do we know how the ally/further training thing will work?

When you earn a temporary Sensei ally, you will gain the ability to have a special 1 on 1 class with them during a timeslot that will grant you either +1 to a skill or an emphasis that the Sensei knows.

I've played with Orokos a bit and I can't get it to include the +1 for precise memory in the roll total. Is it ok if I just make a note in the comments section that 1 is being added to the total after the fact?

If you ever exceed a roll by 10 or more, for every increment of 10, you gain a free raise AFTER the roll to be used as you see fit. You may only gain this bonus equal to your Void Ring, So for example, if a TN is 25 and you rolled a 55, and have a Void of 2, you would gain 2 free raises to utilize after the roll to enhance a spell through its listed Raise abilities, perform a Maneuver on an attack, or be used for an event mechanic.

Do the free raises have to be used on the exact roll you used them on, or can they be banked for later/be used on another roll in the same event (not entirely clear).

If you get an exceptional roll in the welcome to the dojo event (which gives nothing for raises) and it has to be used for that roll/event, can we get something for raises?

If you pass a roll by 2 or more, you gain +1 dojo point (even if the base roll did not original grant a point because the skill is a school skill)

If you have two or more explosions on a roll, you gain the Great Potential advantage for that skill
