In case anyone is curious:

The Future of 5th edition Legend of the Five Rings is secured. Edge Entertainment is going to continue making releases for the IP and the current ruleset!

Here's what's in store for us:

August/September: Celestial Realms Sourcebook (Focuses on Phoenix Clan, Centipede Clan, and all of the Shugenja/Priestly side of religious aspects of Rokugan including the different spirit realms. Additionally, an adventure book will be released as well.

March 2021: Final FFG releases for the setting before switching over to Edge. This release will be focused on the Lion Clan, Badger Clan, Mass Combat, and just warfare in general. Additionally an adventure book will be released.

In Development (Sometime releasing in 2021): The first L5R release from Edge will be focused on the Dragon Clan, Dragonfly Clan, and the Monk religious aspects of Rokugan. No word on an adventure book, could be that they will make them, could be they go to digital only, could be they get set aside.

Additionally, all products will continue to have some form of Digital release, and all the current FFG books will be sold by Edge as well in physical form once they are fully up and running.

FFG still has the IP, but FFG is owned by Asmodee, which decided to put all of their RPG's as one studios responsibility, which is Edge Entertainment.
