Cleaning up at the Stables

He pauses a moment, then tries to bow awkwardly on the horse, "Thank you Utaku-sama I may take you up on that once I have completed my Gempukku"

As they ride through the streets, the Utaku gets more and more relaxed.

"Shall we go out to the wilderness and let our steeds stretch their legs?"

[Miya Wyn]

Wyn smiles, "That would be cool, yeah" He looks toward the edge of the city, "I am sure the horses will enjoy the exercise as well!"

“Come on then, let’s go!”

[Miya Wyn]

Wyn grabs his reins and attempts to compel his horse into a bit more speed in response.

Two two riders and their horses both bring their horses to a trot for some time, letting them warm up before the Utaku sensei grins and lets out a war cry, her enormous steed then launching into a full on gallop

Wyn attempts to copy her "Whoop" letting his own out and trying to get his pony to catch up with her steed.

The pony does indeed break into a gallop, but the Utaku Warhose is much to fast for a Rokugani horse to catch up to.

He does his best to at least not lose sight of her, keeping the horse on the correct path.

After some time, when the sensei is quite some ways ahead of Wyn, she stops her horse, loosing the reins and allowing the big creature to rest and graze.

When Wyn sees that she has stopped he gives his own horse a rest letting it drop to a trot as the approach, and then eventually a walk for the last few feet.

"Come, let him rest and enjoy the scenery, Miya-san"

Loosens his own reins and looks around, "It is beautiful, I wonder if I can get a drawing kit that works well from horseback, that would be very...useful"

[Vutall]

"I am sure your sensei will give you all sorts of tips for how to draw when mounted."

[Miya Wyn]

"Hai, mounted skills and geography are both on the schedule for the last year of our training." He smiles, "And after that, after gempukku, I get to see the rest of the empire."

[Vutall]

"Where will be the first place you hope to go?"

[Miya Wyn]

He thinks solidly, running through the possibilities "Cinnamon Forest, I hear it smells wonderful"

[Vutall]

"Hmm..while forests are beautiful, I still prefer the wide open plains. I would be ever so remiss if I could not ever see them again."

[Miya Wyn]

"People say plains are easy to map, but they really aren't when you look close at them they have valleys and ridges and culdesacs and they are super interesting"

[Vutall]

"Not just that. The expanse of them I imagine would make it quite difficult to tell how far you have traveled!"
