Yes. You won't officially marry until after gempuku.

You can take Blisful before then, since you can be betrothed before gempuku

Say if you are a Artisan/Courtier take both the Artisan and courtier inheritance

Or take Fame/Status/Perceived honor more then one for multiple ranks?

The Inheritance Sword says it helps with Iajitsu/Kenjitsu rolls do you have to pick one or does it help with both?

Is there a reason inheritance katana works for both kenjutsu and Iaijutsu but tools for artisan can only be used for one artisan skill? Blacksmith tools could be used for weaponsmithing, armoursmithing, and many other things

Edit: Please don't do iaijutsu focus rolls with the katana. Not this again!

Mainly because you never roll a Kataka skill check. Artisan tools are specifically for just one skill.

I'm curious on some things regarding the inheritance options.

1) Can we get an option that doesn't fit our tags? Maybe rolling for that as during the game? The copy of the Tao might make sense for Prash if so, maybe

2) Would there even be an Artisan tools option for Artisan: Meishodo? I'm guessing not, but just to be sure

3) The Inheritance bonus applies 'not to attack rolls' but there is also mention of it working 'outside of a skirmish'. For the Tao book, would that mean the bonus cannot be used for activating Kiho with a roll? I guess using them for Atemi strikes even sounds ludicrous, but what about other activation rolls?

I've also got some questions about what might be some options for Status, but I think I'd rather drop some PMs about that on Discord. Thanks!

Pick the thingies with your school tags. I don't see an issue with someone making a Courtier roll to ask for something different, but I don't want to introduce it when 9-% of the players have already picked.

Artisan Tools can be for any one artisan skill.

You cannot use Inheritance for any Combat rolls, and an Atemi is a combat roll.

Oh! I thought I'd seen some chars picking different things? I may have been just confused tbh, I'm having some tough days so I may not have paid much attention to it. Not a Biggie anyway

Not getting the Tao after all then, but just to double check in case it still matters for someone - activation rolls for other Kiho (say Internal or Mystical Kiho, not Atemi) are also ruled out then?

If the Kiho is used during combat, no bonus. Outside of combat, it applies.
