[Kaiu Aiichiro]

"Thanks to Sakura-san." He says. "Ginkarasu-san. I still surprised you, right?"

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

He frowns, and then shakes his head yes, going back to the log.

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

He laughs of his reaction. "Why are you and Kenji-kun so bitter when I win things?"

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

"Only bitter because I spent time worried and then here you are, catching me by surprise." He shakes his head, "I'm not supposed to be caught by surprise!"

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

"I also worried about you. It's very good to see you again, regardless." He nods. "Yesterday was harsh. You did not see the war, yes?"

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

A nod. "Just the afterwards."

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

"Did you know who killed the Zokujin were students?'

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

He looks over surprised, "No! What?"

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

"Yes, the sensei only arrived on the second horde. Who defeated the first twenty Zokujin were students!"

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

He nods. "Guess that Tengu knew what they were talking about!"

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

He smiled. "Well, the only person the Tengu spoke to who was in that battle was me."

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

He nods, face dropping a little.

"Sorry I wasn't there to help."

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

He expected some praise or banter, but dropped his when Ginkarasu seemed upset.
"I didn't mean it this way. I was just at the right place at the right time."

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

He gives a thin smile. "And that's good. I bet it made the difference!"

He picks up the log. "Still means you were there, in danger, and I wasn't there to fight alongside you."

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

"It would be strange if you were. When we are together, it is usually either because I sought you, or because I was with Kenji-kun when you sought him."

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

He shakes his head, "I came to the meeting a few days ago because you were there. Besides, Kenji-san's got all kinds of eyes for Kazuko-san, and Kazuko-san's not good at keeping promises. She traded her training for mochi, and I'm not going to learn anything from her if she's never free."

He grunts, restarting the jump squats.

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

Aiichiro then understood that Ginkarasu was not as extroverted he thought that he was. He nodded apparently at nothing.
"One, two, I'm counting your jumps, three..." He continued to do so, listing numbers one after one, taking a sip out of his water bottle.

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

He does his best to keep time with Aiichiro's count.

"Felt bad hurting Ton. Got paired up against him again earlier. Gotta know your own strength is what I learned."

Hufff pfff.

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

"Ten. Stop to take a short breather. You will lose it quickly if you talk when jumping."
He said, closing the bottle of water.
"I hurt my ashigaru really badly too. Didn't knew my punches were so strong."

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

He nods, setting the log down and getting his own water bottle, wiping away some sweat.

"Asako-sensei must be really powerful. The water kami healed Ton right up!"
