Event: Goblin Attack, Round 2!

[Kaito Haruki]

"Looks like they were coming from the forge, I'm fine enough to keep going if need be. Guards, would it be alright for us to come with you guys to secure the perimeter?"

[Vutall]

The guards look at each other, unsure, but motion them along.

[Kakita Kenji]

Together with Kokyou he went to the forge. What could they see?

[Vutall]

The inside of the forge was a mess with dead goblins and two dead guards at the entrance to the underground city. All the equipment and facilities were intact, however.

[Kaito Haruki]

"Looks like no hostiles in the forge itself, but we still don't know where this hole leads to. Can we seal it up for now, just to be sure we won't get ambushed by anything worse?"

[Kakita Kenji]

"That was the plan, Kaito-san. Kokyou, seal the hole with your magic!" Kenji commanded.

[Kokyou]

Kokyou listened and tilted his head with narrowed eyes. But was it... loud enough?

[Vutall]

While some of the students are dealing with the forge, Shosuro Tomoe, as well as the entire staff of the Dojo's sensei return to the training yard to examine the aftermath.

"I thought you said there was goblins, Shosuro-san?"

Hida Goro's sleepy voice calls out, gruff and teasing in tone.

"These are no goblins. Never seen anything like 'em before. And I know goblins."

[Kakita Kenji]

"Kokyou, close it before more of this things arrive!" Kenji shouted, unclear if the boy was in shock or not.

[Kokyou]

"Yaaaaaar!" He says and runs into the forge, disappearing from sight.

/Exit

Once there, he would secretly close the hole in the wall as no one else was inside.

[Vutall]

The hole is partly closed, but something prevents Kokyou from being able to close it fully. No matter what he tries, there is always a small hole leading down to the underground city, though he manages to get it closed enough that nothing could fit through it except for small animals such as a cat.

[Kaito Haruki]

Haruki looks around for some jade powder then runs back outside. "Hida sensei, jade powder for the injured students just in case, sir!"

[Kakita Kenji]

Kenji also returned to the sensei. Giving them a quick bow before approaching them. "Waiting for Orders, Sensei-samas"

[Vutall]

"Ah, thank you, Isawa-san. Best take it to those who were injured."

The rest of the sensei are busy cutting off all the heads of the fallen enemies. After some time, a group of Hinin/Eta arrive and start piling the bodies in the center, and a priest from the local temple begins conducting cleansing rites.

[Kaito Haruki]

Haruki waits for the priest to finish with the bodies before asking them if they could wait a little while longer for Kokyou come back from securing the forge. Those weapons would need to be ritually purified after all!

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

He returns to the battlefield, already seeing Hida-sensei over there. Good! He dashes towards Goroharu.
"Hida-sensei, Hida-sensei!" He barks. "There could be more of them. More could arrive too. What do we do?"

[Vutall]

“We’ll handle it, Kaiu-San. You and the others have done more than enough”

[Kokyou]

Haruki waits for the priest to finish with the bodies before asking them if they could wait a little while longer for Kokyou come back from securing the forge. Those weapons would need to be ritually purified after all!

After a while, Kokyou returns, still carrying his pair of kama and daggers with him.

/Re-renters

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

"But I'm Kaiu! I can do something!"
He looks around.
"Where is Hiruma-sensei?"

[Kaito Haruki]

"We've already done something Aiichiro-San! We stopped the enemy from advancing any farther than this courtyard, we killed 16 of them before the senseis were even able to enter the fight, and we're running jade powder to the injured as we speak."
