Call of the Moon

[Zashi]

Zashi can feel the full moon before he ever sees it. There is a sudden shifting, a sense of something growing.

"Nope!" Zashi whispers "Noooooooope nope nope nope, can't let it happen now. Not yet. Not before I can get her parents-"

Zashi hunches over in the bed, struggling through through the night as dawn approaches. Finally, as the sun peeks at the edge of the horizon the pull of change stops. Zashi rolls over, panting from the exertion, hoping that people are none the wiser.

[Bayushi Kaidan]

Walking to the cleaning room, Kaidan heard a familiar voice. He walked toward the door and gave a knock. "Zashi san?"

[Zashi]

"Yes?" Zashi rasps out. The voice seems familar somehow, but exhausted he can't quite place it.

[Bayushi Kaidan]

"Are you okay?" He was puzzled. The raspy voice made it quite unfamiliar tone to the genki guy he knows. "May I come in?"

[Zashi]

"Yeah, sure." Zashi grunts, pulling upright. He wipes a bead of sweat off of his brow

[Bayushi Kaidan]

He opened the door and closed it. "I heard noises coming from here... I wondered if you were okay." He seemed genuinely concerned. Zashi has been a good partner for acting classes. He looked at the sweaty guy and frowned. "You don't seem okay."
