Before starting the circle, Kaidan approached Kakita sensei and asked very politely if he could take care of his new pet. Hopefully Kakita sensei would be very compassionate and take care of the small little kitten. He explained that it liked to be scratched behind the ear and under the chin.

He went to Asahi and was puzzled by his state. "Good morning Kitsuki san, seem we are fated to be rivals on this day again." He looked at the Kitsuki and bowed. "Let's have fun this time and not harm each other." He took his starting position.

"Hai, let us enjoy ourselves." he nodded. before they raced off. His head didn't ache the way it had when he woke up but he was still feeling stiff. Regardless, Asahi was fast and he did appear to be having fun. He crossed the first obstacle with a few powerful strides. His grip slipped a little on the second, but he made it across. He fell while climbing the third, but quickly scrambled up it a moment later.

Kaidan this time very contrary on what had happed on Hirosaka the boy showed the prowess of training in the Scorpion lands after leaving Hirosaka. He tried to keep up with the Kitsuki but he kept failing behind.

He went to Kakita sensei and bowed. "Thank you for taking care of my friend, Kakita sensei." He took his cat and left to seat to watch the other competitors.
