"I can make anything" Sakura said with a steely confidence "if you get the supplies and provide details of how to make it I could make it, although I can't stay at the forge all the time or my parents will disapprove."

[Kokyou]

"I be goin' t' give ye th' mightiest challenge o' yer life so far. Har!" He boasts and acts mysteriously cool looking to the horizon.

[Doji Sakura]

"I was talking to the sensei about a no-dachi made of sapphires. Would it be more difficult than that?" Sakura looked curious.

[Kokyou]

"A no-dachi be jus' one blade. I be natterin' about two curved, jagged blades encrusted wit' th' essence o' Thunder itself. Somethin' so beautiful yer eyes would start t' tear in joy even afore 'twould cut ye in four pieces t' scatter t' th' winds." He nods again, still looking to the horizon.

Which is, of course, in the direction of where Utaku Oichi's is observing all students.

[Doji Sakura]

"I've not heard of a double-bladed weapon before. I look forward to seeing the designs for it! You'll have to convince sensei though that it's something we can make" Sakura said thoughtfully "what is it made out of?"

[Kokyou]

"Plun... err... Thunder! Didn' I mention it?" He looks down at Sakura, sure he had mentioned.

[Doji Sakura]

"I don't understand. Do you mean like...thunder and lightning thunder? How do you turn that into a weapon?" Sakura looked confused "I work with metals and gems, I don't think I could turn the weather into a weapon, that would need someone using magic. Maybe sensei could turn thunder into a material?"

[Kokyou]

"Th' metal has t' be so strong 'n valuable that it attracts Thunder into it if ye point it up t' th' skies. Ye best be able t' figure out th' best material t' get that done, no?" Kokyou tries to work around the topic by delegating it to her skills.

[Doji Sakura]

"Hmm...silver I think would work, but would sensei provide silver for this. Silver isn't the strongest material either...maybe copper?" Sakura looked thoughtful "or perhaps if it was made of steel with silver lining it. There is no sensei dedicated to weaponsmithing here for us to ask. I'm not sure who we can check with."

[Kokyou]

He leans in closer again, acting secretively. "Well. If thar's no sensei that can teach ye that inside. Then, maybe... outside?"

[Doji Sakura]

Sakura went to answer, then paused.

"Is there a forge outside?"

[Kokyou]

Kokyou puts a finger over his lips to tell her to tone down the voice. Then he shrugs with a sly smirk. "I be nah sure. But I know o' a map maker among us. Maybe he would know. Miya Wyn-sama be th' name. Quite prophetic, no?"

[Doji Sakura]

Sakura did indeed lower her voice.

"Oh, that is fortunate. If you could find out if there is then we could go there and speak with them about it to see if it's possible. I leave that with you Kokyou-san!"

[Kokyou]

He sucks his teeth again, reminding, "But ye're th' weaponsmith here, poppet. I be jus' yer challenger."

With a deep breath, he nods in acceptance, "All right, I shall seek this valuable information t' uncover th' mysteries o' th' craft so ye remind fondly o' me since I know ye'll turn out t' be one o' those famed beauties o' th' Crane Clan."

[Doji Sakura]

Sakura was starting to understand what he was saying better. Maybe she had just spent enough time to understand the lingo?

"If you can get me to someone I can get the information from, then I can do it. It's a partnership, not all on one person, ne?" Sakura grinned "we're working together."

[Kokyou]

"A battleship cannot cruise th' tempest wit' jus' one sailor. Can it?" He mentions rhetorically.

[Doji Sakura]

"I don't know. Can it?" Sakura asked innocently

[Kokyou]

"Ye're nah suposed t'... heck... ne'er mind" Kokyou eyes smile encouraged by Sakura's cuteness, and he contains a chuckle not to embarrass the girl's innocence.

[Doji Sakura]

"Oh. I'm sorry, I've never been on a boat before, so I don't know" Sakura looked embarrassed, lowering her head.

[Kokyou]

"Do nah lower yer head, poppet. I 'ave ne'er ridden horseback afore either. But I'll surely do. Soon, I expect."

His eyes flow from the gathered sensei and back Sakura, when he asks, "I loot ye in a galleon trip aft we complete our gempukku. How does that sound?"
