D6 LE - An Awkward Reunion (CW: Relationship Power Dynamics Student/Teacher)

[Togashi Dao]

Brushing his fingers through Oichi's hair before leaning in closer for her head to rest upon his shoulder, Dao smiles.

"Then I'd better be on my best behaviour tomorrow. But if I'm marrying in, then who needs to throw whom over their horse?" He jokes lightly.

[Vutall]

She lets out a chuckle

"I suppose that duty falls on me now. "

She rests her on head against his.

[Togashi Dao]

"If it makes you feel better, I won't fight you too hard." He laughs before turning a little more serious.

"How is it you haven't been snapped up already, grateful as I am for the circumstance?"

[Vutall]

"My history is...complicated. I was a prodigy of my school, much like you. But during my first year after gempuku, I was gravely injured which now prevents me from ever fighting properly for the rest of my life. I was quickly put in a teaching position to still make use of my skills, but none in the Unicorn would want a wife who is already so damaged this early in their life."

[Togashi Dao]

"Their loss, is our gain then." Dao consoles Oichi, hoping that the potentially painful memory wasn't too bad for her.

"I have no family of my own." He admits in the spirit of sharing. "I'm honored that the path to my own family could start here, tonight, with you."

[Vutall]

"I would have wished for it to not be such a cause for rumor, but I am happy as well."

She closes her eyes, her head resting on Dao's, fingers intertwined.

[Togashi Dao]

"I am...we are still young. We will move past this and soon it will just be a funny anecdote our friends tell, although I think I could almost FEEL the daggers in my back from Doji Murashige's glare..."

[Vutall]

“Oh, I assure you, she is livid.”

[Togashi Dao]

"I imagine Agasha-sama will be monitoring the path of her class projects closely, so I hope Doji-sensei can't make things too difficult for you."

[Vutall]

"There will be repercussions, but nothing that can't be managed."

[Togashi Dao]

"Whatever comes, we'll face it together." Dao answered as his hand slipped around Oichi's waist and held her tight.
