Poetry compilation

Hi everyone!

So, between parts 1 and 2 there has been a really large number of poems posted by various different characters, many of them quite nice! So I was thinking about getting them all compiled nicely in a single thread, or a single document even.

I know at least in some cases there were poems which were sent via PM/ to people's PFs. At least some of those were anonymous, from what I've heard.

So here's what I was thinking - maybe we could copy/paste all the poems (or at least all we can find) in this thread, maybe with links or indicating that it was 'received' in your PFs (considering you wouldn't mind other people knowing about the poem at least OOC - and received instead of sent so the identities of those sending the poems is kept hidden)?

I know I, for one, would enjoy seeing such a little compilation

First most precious spark
Stirred in the the heart's gathered thatch

His every look's a shelter.

In returning spring
The flower opens gladly
Joy to who see it

Some eyes, of course, will see more
Bring happier for it

Look on it who will
The spring flower opening
To be plucked by one
For whom it is ever fresh
However petals wrinkle

A moment in thanks,
Honor for aid received,
Old flowing river.

A spark fanned to flame
Inspiration shaped and cooled
A soul forged to serve

Raindrops on water
No, it is a dancing stone
Momentarily.

Watch how fire transforms
heat fold harden earth reforged

Winds blowing sails
Too far from home they travel
Find home over seas

fire in my soul

Topaz traditions abound
While new training tries to begin

For a commendable commencement?

A full glass finds friends

While stories sketched in sound

Good brew is a boon for the spinner of tales

So raise a cup in good cheer, but sip lightly when fierce

First wind of the spring -
Trials met with joy and mettle
True hearts guide true hands

What is a pup to a mare

I rather like that the blank mon could be read either as the Utaku's or as the lack of mon for a ronin.
