It wasn't the blade he wanted to be working with, he'd much rather be whirling a scimitar at his opponent but they weren't allowed their own weapons for these competitions. He unsheathed the practice blade and whirled it with a precision and skill that showed excellent control of the blade as it whirled through the air whistling with the speed he moved the blade each slice meticulous had this been a battlefield he would have been a dervish of death for his enemies.

With one decisive strike that mimed across his opponent's torso from across the platform he smiled and waited for the bout to begin.
