Yotsuo bows to his opponent before the start of the race, before turning and preparing for the start. His pace seems steady and careful, as he doesn't seem to have a very refined sense of balance or physical fitness. Just enough that he knows how to navigate these things with care. He does not act aggressively, but rather seems to react to what is presented to him in as smooth a fashion as he can muster.

When he was thrown into the mud by his opponent, it surprised the young Kuni. It was no accidental push, but a full on shove from his opponent. He was getting quite annoyed by constantly being pushed around by opponents, but the blatant cheating was far worse than simply losing the day before. He made his way out of the mud before continuing on at his steady pace. Eventually, he crossed the finish line and bowed to the judges and his opponent.

The worst part of it was that despite being a more honorable participant and karma being a real thing, Yotsuo likely had a much darker fate in the long run. He began making his way off to a place where he could prepare for the next test.
