Kazuko hastily ponders her options before her turn comes up as on one hand, she wants to do her best, but on the other, she wants to help Hitoshi. Oh, fortunes. How did she get caught up in this dilemma? The words of Doji Satsume echo in her end and she remembers how unfairly Hitoshi was treated during the heraldry test yesterday and she makes up her mind. She carefully picks which words to use in her mind as she seeks out Hitoshi before they are called up.

"Hai, Hitoshi-san. There may be many obstacles in life that knock us down but the important thing is to be able to get back up and not give up. As long as you do not give up then you will succeed, okay?"

The boy gives Kazuko a bit of a glare, but bows to her.

"Thank you for the words, Kakita-san. May the fortunes be with you for the run. I know they will favor me."

How cocky. Reminds her of a certain someone. She really doesn't see what's so important about this boy but if the Emerald Champion is asking... Well, she knows better than to question her superiors.

She stands in silence if he has nothing else to say, watching the competition but making sure to keep an eye on Hitoshi.
