Zashi shrugs. "I mean, is the person you think is sabotaging you being fair?"

"I do not, but I think it is coming from above rather than from other participants."

[Zashi]

Zashi offers a sigh. "Well, that is a bit harder to directly ferret out. I'll see what I can do to kick up some dust and see what happens, but we need to make sure that whoever is bothering you isn't keeping your points too low to get to the duelist ring"

[Kokyou]

"So thar be someone puttin' thar noses in our business." Kokyou sips his tea, narrowing eyes. "Any clues who this high up scallywag might be?"

Hitoshi shrugs.

"Between canceling my room, and the Doji judge failing me at Heraldry today despite giving what I know were correct answers, it's very difficult to say."

"Could there be bad blood between your family and the Crane?" Mai was trying to think why they would single out Hitoshi and not Kokyou or herself.

"I do not know, my mother has never spoken ill of the Crane, and I do not have a father."

[Mai]

Mai looked him over to see if he had Crane features himself.

If not for the Mantis colors and accent, as well as his general nature, Hitoshi could easily be mistaken as a Crane at first glance.
