The Mantis vessel that docked before Lady Sun could greet them needed some special care. Kokyou makes sure that he stays with the crew a bit more before departing to check-in at the inn. After all, he must ensure that the Mantis can be proud of the example he'll put forth to the Clan's image.

Arriving at the docks it was Bayushi Kaidan's boat. He comes down to the port with a sigh and a frown. Here we go again. This time was more about competing rather than just being taught in such weird way. He wasn't watching where he was walking as the busy docks were harboring lost of people. He stumbled on Kokyou.
"Oh... excuse me." not knowing that his comrade was the one he stumbled upon.

Kokyou mumbles some curves inwardly that were no place in Crane lands. In previous days, those would fly out like a storm, but it seems the young man learned a thing or two. With a sigh, he takes a moment and apologize, "Pardon. I've been too focused on the job and it was rude of me."

He heard the familiar voice. "Kokyou san?... You still owe me." He chuckled. "I think my new look has you confused. I hope you remember me... Bayushi Kaidan."

Kokyou narrows his eyes, then chuckles. "Bucko! Ye stumblin', plagued codpiece! ... Blistering barnacles! Ye look... thin. Don't they feed the Bayushi around yer parts?"

"Been living in temples... so not much food." He nodded. "You thought I was a Crane?" He chuckled once again. "I have been practicing blending in."

"Crane? Fortunes, no. I simply didn' fair winds t' ye. Forgot ye're good at that kind o' shite. Disappearin' 'n appearin' out o' nowhere." Kokyou mentions with another chuckle. Then, he points out to some crates. "By the way. Has Inari-kami blessed ye this fair mornin'? We brought tons o' fresh fish fer the celebrations here. Thar's some made on the ship if ye wants t' join me."

"Ah... well, I could eat something nice." He nodded. "Inari's blessing is always welcomed." The boy smirked. "If you want I could do it... vanish and following you from afar... You would know I am here." He said quietly.

"Let's 'ave some grub first. Ye can vanish later wit' a full belly if ye would like. How has the travel been, up t' now?" Kokyou waves his head for Kaidan to follow as they step back into the ship. Once there, he presents the cook to Kaidan –– and vice versa. She provides a bow to the Scorpion and smiles while serving them both some rice and fresh sashimi. After that, the fair woman leaves to her own affairs.

Kaidan bowed back to the cook. He gingerly picked the fish and ate it. "Too much water... too many temples."

"Too much water? That's nonsense. Well, I guess ye be indeed a landlubber aft all." Kokyou chuckles while thanking the cook with a nod, and then starts eating his mother's dish.

He pursed his lips. "Scorpion land's are in middle of Rokugan. Only a river has the capability of sailing down to sea. So yeah... land lover might be okay." He nodded. "Traversed from south to up here so yeah... too much water."

"Water be the path t' life. Rather it be abundant, than scarse." He says after chewing on the fresh tuna they brought in and then looks to the food, asking, "Nah that rice ain't good. But, jus' by itself, 'tis rather... plain."
Kokyou chuckles.

Kaidan shook his head. "Plain sometimes is what some people need. Yet... Adventures on land are perhaps equally perilous like the ones at sea. Right?" He took a piece of rice and ate it.

"I like the wavy. Can nah deny." The Mantis grins and pops another sashimi into his mouth. "Mixin' land wit' sea would be the best o' the adventures, then."

"Could be." He nodded. "I wonder how it would be?" He dipped the Sashimi in the soy sauce.

"Well. We be about t' find it out, here in Tsuma. I plan t' make it a quite grand adventure." He says putting the rice bowl near to his mouth so he could devour it faster.

Kaidan shook his head. "Well, we should have a good time." He chuckled lightly. "But we still don't know what the future holds."
