(Day 6, LE) Celebration Feast (Minor Clan and Ronin Event)

"Seems a better tactic than approaching more directly."

Hitoshi nods at Kokyou, still trying to manage his temper.

[Zashi]

"Go for it Kokyou. Let's give them a chance to do the right thing"

As Kokyou comes back to the group, after admiring the mountains where he placed that giganormous statue, he sits down and explains to the troupe, "Alright, our most beloved 'n good lookin' Otomo-sama be tryin' t' get Kakita-sama's attention t' politely suggest that we present our gifts. Yet, she said that only one o' us should speak out. Would ye be ok wit' one o' us represent th' Minor Clans as a group... 'n th' other nah so worthy o' praise?"

He raises an eyebrow, asking, "If be positive, who would like t' do it?"

The Mantis goes on, confirming, "O' course, I volunteer meself, but I would make way fer another o' nearly equal prestige."

Sasaiko thinks on the matter.

Perhaps Hitoshi should do it, she muses. But after just getting him calmed, that might not be best.

[Kokyou]

Noticing Otomo did convince Toshimoko as he notices the Gray Crane’s eyes looking their way. He hurries the crew to come to a decision with a raised eyebrow.

“So. Who will it be. Mai-chan?”

[Toritaka Sasaiko]

Give our demonstrated courtly skills, Sasaiko thinks, perhaps it should be me.

"I can, if she does not wish to."

[Zashi]

"I am not as good at formal presentations...but let me be your hype man."

Zashi vanishes, appearing a few minutes later looking like a Crane servant girl, his red hair missing and now surprisingly androgynous.

He steps ups head demurely bowed

"My ladies and lords...we humbly thank you for your hospitality" There is a flourish of shamisen, announcing Sasaiko amidst whirls of incense, making her appear almost ghostly on a fabulous approach.
