(Rule) The Topaz Championship Event Rules

Basic Topaz Championship event structure:
Players can use ANY ring's matching trait (meaning if a skill calls for a mental trait, you can roll any rings mental trait, if a skill calls for a physical trait, you can roll a rings physical trait. Void counts as both and can be used for all.) for their tests, but each instructor of a test will be looking for a certain ring. Players who use the correct ring will gain the players +5 Topaz points. So for example, instead of rolling Weaponskill/Agility, you could roll weaponskill/reflexes.
At the opening ceremony, the different rings will be described as follows:
-Air is precise, distant, and analytical. Air does not approach the matter directly, but with care, subtlety, and planning.
-Earth is firm, grounded, and cautious. Earth prefers to act decisively, but only after due consideration.
-Fire is passionate, inventive, and direct. Fire acts swiftly and with overwhelming force.
-Water is flexible, responsive, and powerful. Water acts with confidence, flowing around the problem until it finds a solution.
-Void is the element of no element, the mind of no mind. Void does not think, plan, or react. Void simply acts, moving in accordance with instinct and the natural path of the cosmos.
At each event, the judge(s) will give a hint at the start to show what ring they are looking for.
Regular Events:
-Passing each roll grants +1 point
-Extra raises on the roll grant +2 points
-Exceptional Success Raises may be utilized if you possess the skill you are rolling, each exceptional success (Up to your Void) granting +1 points
-Utilizing the correct ring grants +5 points
-Passing all rolls grants +5 points
1 on 1 Events:
Players will be paired off (By the GM) to face an opponent
-Passing each roll grants +1 point (This is rare in a 1 on 1 event)
-Passing a Contested roll grants +2 points
-Extra raises on the roll grant +2 points
-Exceptional Success Raises may be utilized if you possess the skill you are rolling, each exceptional success (Up to your Void) granting +1 points
-Utilizing the correct ring grants +5 points
-Winning the 1 on 1 event grants +10 points
Players will need to earn a total of 75 Topaz points to pass their gempuku and be able to move on to the tournaments on day 7. Anyone who does not pass is sent back to their dojo in shame.
