Rule: Event Spellcasting/Kiho/Kata/Tattoo Activation
Posted: Thu Jul 23, 2020 5:44 pm
Before each event, if allowed, and before you choose the ring for the event, you may attempt to activate one of each: Spell, Kiho, Kata, Tattoo.
Each event will say what is allowed to be used for Spellcasting, Kiho, Kata, or tattoos. Please note that for anything that requires an activation roll, you may only make the attempt once for each event, and if you fail, you cannot try to activate it again for that event.
You may NOT target an opponent with any of these abilities before the event begins.
If you purposefully harm an opponent outside of the realm of the Sumai event (By winning the contested Jiujutsu roll) or the Weaponry event (By winning the contested Weapon roll) you loose 1.0 honor and 10 topaz points. If you do so a second time, you will be sent home in shame, removed from the tournament (and thus the game)
After you have made your attempt, each roll the event asks you to make is considered a "round" unless otherwise noted.
If something can be activated as a "Free Action" you can activate it during the event itself.
