The New Winds

The spell Fire Kami's blessing becomes quite strong at the XP levels we are playing at. I suggest the following errata, to go in effect starting on Day 3.

Old:

or the duration of this spell, the target gains a +Xk0 bonus (where X is the caster’s Fire Ring) to any High or Merchant Skill rolls using the Intelligence Trait.

Eratta (In bold)

or the duration of this spell, the target gains a +Xk0 bonus (where X is the caster’s Fire Ring, with a maximum bonus equal to the casters Mastery Level + Affinity ) to any High or Merchant Skill rolls using the Intelligence Trait.

As with all mechanic polls, this requires 75% or more to take effect.

Sounds fair to me. Still useful, not as powerful, and whereas the effect is somewhat niche it plays right into a game like this one.

Ends up being more powerful at high levels, but it could always be revisited when our insight ranks match our stats.

I voted yes, but would suggest if errata happens that those who chose the spell should be permitted the option to swap it out for a different spell.

This eratta has now been put into effect. Any player who has this spell may swap it for a different spell.
