Looking for a kindred soul (Expecting, but open)

Prash is up early today. After some surprise and some time thinking about his votes for the "the Most ___" poll - and about other people he might want to meet during the day - he does his morning chores happily, but quickly... And then walks towards the yard, looking for the Miya boy.

[Miya Wyn]

Wyn is also up early doing chores, he seems to be sweeping out the courtyard, he smiles seeing the Unicorn approach with a wave.

The Unicorn bows to the Imperial, a happy smile on his lips as he gets closer.

"Miya-sama. I'm happy for the chance to properly speak with you"

[Miya Wyn]

Wyn returns the Unicorns bow, "Iuchi sama how are you this morning? "

[Iuchi Prashant]

"I'm well, thanks Miya-sama", he says, smiling. "Starting to get a bit nostalgic, I think", he grins, but his eyes show he's not just kidding as he looks around.

"This has been a unique experience", he says, warmly. "And a great chance to learn many things... Generosity included", he completes, smiling respectfully at the Imperial.

He smiles big, "The job of the Miya is to bring all clans together."

[Iuchi Prashant]

Prash's warm, kind smile that the Miya may have already become used to after seeing it the past few days is especially bright after the Miya's words.

"One of the noblest missions a family could have. We raise higher and stand stronger when we stand together."

[Miya Wyn]

"I am not a herald, they are the ones who truly are in charge of drawing the empire together, but I still like the idea of our families purpose, even if I am only a mapmaker."

[Iuchi Prashant]

"Oh", the Iuchi exclaims, smiling again. "It sounds like a very interesting duty too, Miya-sama. And one that both benefits from the unison of the clans, and may help preserve balance when it is shaken."

He looks up at the sky, follows a bird's flight with his eyes for a moment. "Balance... a delicate, fleeting thing to seek, but so important", he says, looking at the Miya again and giving him a warm, trusting smile.

"Thank you for sharing this goal yesterday, Miya-sama."

[Miya Wyn]

Wyn nods, "It went well, I was a little worried the Sensei's might take it badly, but it seems it worked out for the best, thank you for having my back!"

[Iuchi Prashant]

He nods himself. "I couldn't have done otherwise, Miya-sama. And I'm glad the sensei didn't stand against it. Although... They have said this is focused on learning, and not a competition, ne?", He smiles again. "So perhaps they found some agreement with your idea, even!"

[Miya Wyn]

"Yes, I guess they did. I think there were a lot of people who got into the...competitive nature of everything, some of them too much"

[Iuchi Prashant]

He nods. "Hai... Sadly so. But at the same time, I think there were others who learned that one can learn more from challenging oneself than others", he smiles. "I'm not sure what we "he stops, smiling and correcting himself "in fact, you did will make a big change... But I hope it make some at least".

He looks down, then bows a bit at the Imperial again.

"I do know I found a kindred spirit, and one I can trust to call a friend, if he'd allow me that".

Wyn bows low in return, "I would enjoy that very much, friend"

[Iuchi Prashant]

The Iuchi bows lower to match the imperial, standing only when he does so - and with a smile on his lips.

"I suppose you have plans to attend the next Topaz Championship, as most here will, Miya-san?" - after their conversation, the Iuchi seems to feel sufficiently comfortable to speak to the Imperial in less formal terms - a least when only the two of them were there. "It will be my honour if I have the chance to meet you again there"

[Miya Wyn]

"I hope to be sent by my family, if they feel it is in the Emperors best interest to do so yes, and it would be enjoyable to see you there"

[Iuchi Prashant]

He nods "Hai, of course such things would depend on our families' plans. But should it happen, I will be happy to see you there too!"

He then looks at the sky, as if measuring where the sun is. "Many plans for our last day here, Miya-san? I hope I am not holding you up"

[Miya Wyn]

"I plan to of course attend the lessons, and the final celebrations, oh and I am supposed to clean out the stables this afternoon, maybe spend some time with horses. My school concentrates strongly on riding as part of our duties to the empire but we haven't actually started any of those classes yet"

[Iuchi Prashant]

"Oh, I sometimes forget the Miya place great emphasis on riding as well! Although of course you do, as you travel all over the Empire in your duties", he says smiling again. "Perhaps we may find the chance to ride alongside each other one day", he says, happy. "But for now... I would like to thank you again, Miya-san. For your gesture, your time, and your words here."
