Relaxing Tea Before the Storm

[Otomo Nobuko]

"Fate is often seen as a string of coincidences, but when looking back, are directly related. Do not sell yourself short, Yasuki-san. You are a raven. And now you have your feathers."

[Mai]

Mai nods. "It is quite a blessing. Hearing thunder and then receiving a gift. It is a fitting story for the Isles. Otomo-san is right. You must be quite blessed, Yasuki-san."

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

He smiles a bit at their words.

[Otomo Nobuko]

Seeing his reaction, Nobuko averted her eyes. It seemed they may have been too profuse in reassuring him, embarrassed as he appeared. She lifted her cup to request more tea and draw attention away from Ginkarasu so he could recover himself.

"You are very skilled at this, Mai-san. The tea is wonderful. If I might be so bold as to ask for another cup. I know it is not traditional, but there are only the three of us and it has been most soothing."

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

"Hai, hai! As I've heard my mother say, you would be a boon ally on the road, able to bring the refinement of tea to the wildest of places." Ginkarasu adds, much more liking the idea of complimenting someone else.

[Mai]

Now, it is Mai's turn to be embarrassed. Though she hides decently well. "I am merely following what Doji-sensei showed me." She pours some more tea for Nobuko and offers some to Ginkarasu. "Though I have been practicing. It's harder than I originally thought."

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

"So says everyone for a thousand years." He laughs a bit at that.
