Dao had asked to speak to Kitsuki Tai Yu, and hoped the senior Dragon would answer.

He needed to follow up on the late night attack and had a few personal questions to ask her as well.

And so he sat, and waited in the barracks, a plate of untouched food in front of him as he tried hard to avoid temptation.

“Are you fasting, Togashi-San?”

[Togashi Dao]

"I am trying, KItsuki-sama. But it seems I chose the most delicious day to start trying." He pouts and blows a curl of hair out of his eyes before looking up and symbolically pushing the plate a little further away.

"I'm sorry for interrupting your lunch for my little request Kitsuki-sama."

“Does the cloud apologize to the tree for shading it from the sun?”

She gives a polite nodding bow.

“What do you seek today”

[Togashi Dao]

"Wisdom, clarity and information." Dao replies simply, with a serious visage.

"In my dreams, i keep seeing the face of the intruder whom I hastened along the kharmic wheel. I thought that perhaps you might know some calming exercises that can help me with this dilemma?"

She nods, a hint if understanding and sadness in he eyes.

“A difficult thing to do, personally sending one on their new journey. As far as how to ease your mind, meditate on this question: why do you dwell on your thoughts of that night? “

Dao thinks for a few moments, trying to fund the words he seeks. "I guess...the nature of power." He tries to explain.

Unsure how she will take what he is certain is an unusual reasoning for choosing a name, he just continues on.

"Thank you sensei. Did they learn anything else we should be concerned about?" Dao asks woth concern, not asking specifics, but leaving it up to Tai Yu if there was anything he should know.

“Unfortunately not. They all seemed to be under the employ of a mysterious ronin named Watcher, who has been captured and executed many times. It seems the name is a title of some sorts and many take up the mantle”

[Togashi Dao]

"Then I hope that when the students they sought revenge on leave, then so will any ill will they might hold to this institution."

Dao stretches a little before continuing, although with a sharp right turn into a new topic.

"Do you know what is expected of me here Kitsuki-sensei? One of the students mentioned something about the Topaz Championship and I'm the only Dragon student here and barely in the top half of the students."

"All of the pupils here re to be invited to the Championship."

"Wow, that's...a lot of competitors then isn't it? If there are other students also competing or is it just this class this year then?"

"There will likely be a small handful who are not here, but I wouldn't expect many"
