Truly, a practical lesson that is applicable in more than just jiujitsu.

He noticed a lot of noise coming through some shojis, and his curiosity got the best out of him. Sliding it aside, Aiichiro looked in and saw many students alongside a sensei.
Oh, right, a sensei.
He bowed.

The sensei gives a slight bow in return, motioning for the Kaiu to join.

[Asako Saburo]

Saburo, for his part, simply nodded in response to the lesson. Hearing another set of footsteps, he glanced back and gave a bow to the Kaiu, murmuring a soft "Kaiu-san" but keeping his voice low and turning back to offer full attention to the Hida's words. He had a suspicion the lesson was far from over. Improvisation felt like a natural progression from here.

[Kakita Kenji]

Without saying much, Kenji bowed just before Aiichiro and welcomed him.

He entered the room, closing the shoji before him, getting nearer to the other students, specially Kenji and Saburo, in order to listen to the sensei. He was tall, could he be... Oh, he was a Hida! What were they studying?

"Everyone pick a new partner."

"I want to go with Kenji-san."

[Asako Saburo]

It took a moment's consideration and he simply nodded, approaching the winded Moto. He looked at the young man and grunted. "You have training in this. You are almost certainly my better, but there is no other way to better oneself." He certainly wasn't about to drop his guard around this one. He was big and he had a temper.

[Asako Sanzo]

"I guess that leaves us, Kuni-san." Sanzo says, turning to the Crab.

[Kakita Kenji]

"Well, then..." Kenji said and prepared himself. "What's wrong, Aiichiro-san?" Kenji said as he saw Aiichiro's confused look.

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

"I still don't know what the lesson is about." He said, looking at Kenji and imitating his posture. Felt familiar. "Grappling?"

[Kakita Kenji]

"Jiujutsu, Sumai basics, when you leave the ring you lose," Kenji said, waiting for Aiichiro to be ready and began the fight for the ring.

He gave a nod with his head. Kenji would discover soon that the Kaiu was more or less as strong as he was. He struggled against his advance, but did not fall. Yet.

[Moto Ichiro]

The moto boy finally able to pull breath again and standing he nods after a hit like that he was feeling a little woozy and unsteady on his feet but he was never one to back down from a challenge. "Hai." was all he said in return before dropping into his stance giving the Asako boy a moment to ready himself then coming at him.

The Moto was obviously a little fired up over the incident with the crab sensei as he came at the smaller boy in a rush leveraging to hurl the boy from the ring unless he could be stopped

[Asako Saburo]

Saburo went flying out of the ring, dusting himself off and grunting once before checking to make sure that there was no follow through. There was no wound to his pride. He was taking on someone who had broken free of a proper sumai even if it took a little bit. The lad was powerful. Once certain, he grunted and bowed to the Moto, a grim smile on his face.

"That went just about as I expected, Moto-san. You are blessed with a bit of Bishamon's spirit in you."

The fire from the adrenaline was fading and he had, admittedly taken a bit of it out on the smaller boy. He returned the bow "You are small but have the right spirit. Hard work can make up for blessings the kami and fortunes did not give you." he said simply after a deep breath.

The grim smile grew and just barely Ichiro would catch a glimmer of teeth in them. "It's nice to see someone who understands the way that I live my life without having to explain it. When I look at your stature and power, I see something to strive towards, just as I am sure you have your own goals." He nodded. "I am looking forward to seeing you show us this at work tomorrow."
