(D5, LA) Thrill of the Hunt (Closed)

The forest is home to many game animals such are rabbit, boar, deer, squirrel, fox, and pheasant

[Kakita Kazuko]

Initially, Kazuko tries to skirt around the larger puddles in Tsuma, attempting to keep herself as clean as possible but gives up soon after seeing how utterly muddy the ground is. She hopes that the downpour won't make it too difficult to track down animals, although it does have the benefit of washing away their scent. Upon arriving at the outskirts, she looks up at the sky at Ginkarasu's comment.

"It's... not raining? That's odd. Aiichiro-san, do you know why it's not raining out here?"

"Really weird...but the tracks coming out of the rain makes it a little easier..."

He frowns. "Oh no, they go back in here! Quick, before the rain washes them away!" He scurries after the tracks, just as quick as his eyes and feet can follow them.

The tracks lead to a deer in the distance, grazing casually.

Approaching the deer, he readies his bow whilst trying to close distance with the animal.

Seeing the deer Kenji readies his bow, hoping Aiichiro would guide them silently to it

The deer is alerted to the groups movement and begins to run way!

As soon as the deer was startled, Kenji already had a bow and arrow at hand to shoot him. The arrow whirred from the string and hit the deer right in the heart. As fast as the deer was about to flee, he lay on the ground and died.

"Thank you" he smiled when recieving the compliment. "Now we only need to get it back to Tsuma"

"Great shot, and on the run too!" He looks around the forest. "If we can find some bamboo, we can tie it and carry it that way."

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

"There may have some near the river. Let's go there!"

[Kakita Kenji]

Kenji followed the crabs to get some Bamboo.

"So! Who does everyone think is going to win the Topaz Championship this year?" He asks as they walk.

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

"I think Kenji-kun is going to win the dueling championship, but that Otomo-sama is going to win the tourneament at the end."

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

"That means the only Isawa here has to lose taryu-jiai, right?" he holds up some low hanging branches to make it easier for everyone else to pass.

[Kakita Kenji]

"I'm still weary of Ginkarasu-kun's secret dueling technique, but i hope to win at least the Iaijutsu Tournament. But i agree with you, chances are that a Shugenja or Courtier takes the title this year"
