(Day 4, LE) Bar Fight! ((Content Warning: Death, Ritual Suicide))

[Mai]

After the Unicorn walks away, Mai asks, "Was Hitoshi here?"

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

Ginkarasu calls back to the magistrates, "A group of ronin came in and started badly insulting some of us who're competing in the Topaz Championship. I tried to get them to stop or leave and one of them said they hoped we'd enjoy the taste of steel. Some of them hesitated, but then a group of them charged at us, swords drawn. We defended ourselves. Four of them swung at me with swords and a few of my friends were hurt. The nearly killed Kakita Kazuko-sama! And after they cut us and showed killing intent, we fought back harder."

He frowns, "Are bar fights different here? In Crab lands when a bar fight happens, no one draws steel, otherwise it becomes a life or death situation."

[Kokyou]

Prash's brows raise a bit, but he just mutters an "Arigato gozaimasu, Kokyou-san" as he tries to make sense of that.

Kokyou raises a cocky eyebrow to Prash and nods. "Yer welcome."

"These ronin were getting angry and when they heard something they didn't like, they attacked us with swords. There's more to our story, but first we need to get everyone to safety."

"We did exchange pleasantries before, or course. It looked like a friendly confrontation, until swords were drawn, as Kaito-san mentions." He explains to the magistrates, pulling off his accent and reinforcing the Pheonix testimony.

[Vutall]

"Very well, and the Ronin, what of them? I see four have decided to uphold honor, but the rest?"

The magistrates still stay outside, but relax their drawn swords.

[Kaito Haruki]

"3 of them are unconcious but stable, 2 died in the middle of the scuffle that happened when we defended ourselves, and the last one . . ." (Ooc, one had wounds but was still able to move)

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

"The ronin are gone. I however recommend all of you to wait until everything is cleaned." He says to the heimin upstairs. Then looks at the innkeeper. "I'll look for eta."
Aiichiro goes downstairs and bows to the magistrates.

[Utaku Nesrin]

(back from work and...that escalated quickly)

Things happened faster than Nesrin would have expected. But...at least Kazuko looked be taken care of, the ronin did not escape, and Kenji gave them the compassionate end she'd been too slow to get to. She nods to Prashant. "Good trick with the stone there...though I think we might need to donate something to fixing that door." She looks him up and down. "He hit you pretty hard, how bad is it?" Obviously he didn't look like it had slowed him down any, so she wasn't going to make a big fuss about it here.

"And another good trick getting rid of it, Kokyou-san." Though she looks a bit more confused as she says this, having no idea how he'd have done such a thing.

She adds to the others's reports to the magistrates. "I'm afraid we didn't hold back much, fighting with stools and sake cups against katana." Her tone is only a bit apologetic. After all, it is a heck of a mess.

[Vutall]

The guests all nod at Aiichiro and begin to gather themselves, murmurs spreading through them like wildfire.

The Magistrates listen to the testimony and finally sheath their blades .

"It seems we have much to report. Please, do not come out until we have the priests and shugenja from the temple come to cleanse this plase and you as best as they can."

One of the magistrates says something to the other in a whisper and he nods, taking up a guarding position at the door and then hurries off.

[Kaito Haruki]

"Could you bring an Emerald Magistrate too? I have a concern that needs to be heard by one granted authority by the Emerald Champion."

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

"Please get the eta after the priests. Many heimin are reunited upstairs, if the priests need to bless all present people. If only the testimonies, the owner of the place was there whilst everything happened." He says to the magistrate at the door. "I will be upstairs with them."

[Kokyou]

"And another good trick getting rid of it, Kokyou-san." Though she looks a bit more confused as she says this, having no idea how he'd have done such a thing.

Nesrin's voice sound like music to his ears after so much stress. He, of course, doesn't show a hint of that, if not looking to her over his shoulder with a wink.

As the magistrates seem satisfied. He bows to them, saying, "I'll return to the inn and thing over what happened."

Bowing back to the crew, he adds, accent returning, "Countin' on ye all t' fix th' damage here on th' followin' days."

[Yasuki Ginkarasu]

Ginkarasu calls back to the magistrates. "Okay! One of the competitors came in afterwards and asked the kami to heal us. She was not here for the fighting."

[Vutall]

((I need to step away for a bit))

The magistrate guarding the door shakes his head at Kokyou.

"You need to stay here, Mantis-san"

[Kaito Haruki]

"Let it also be known that the competitor Hitoshi never one acted in violence during this whole encounter, instead quietly assisted in escorting the heimin upstairs and out of harm's way."

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

He goes upstairs to meet the heimin as he said, cleaning his bloodied footsteps in a tamami and putting his bloodied cloak over a table.
((Is Hitoshi there?))

[Kokyou]

((I need to step away for a bit))

The magistrate guarding the door shakes his head at Kokyou.

"You need to stay here, Mantis-san"

The cursing on his head is never-ending. He sighs and nearly sucks her teeth. But then nods, accepting. He was a guest of the Crane, after all.

[Vutall]

Hitoshi is indeed upstairs with the Heimin, sitting in seiza, eyes closed.

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

He would not interrupt his meditation, but it was good someone led them there. He looked around for the innkeeper.
"Are you well?"

[Vutall]

The man is in shambles, his eyes watery and nose stuffy.

He nods to Aiichiro, but says nothing.
