[Karada District, Trading Ground] Sights and Sounds

[Zashi]

"Well, we should look then." Zashi's eyes close, sending out the thrum through the spiritual plane, reaching out to commune with any spirits in the area.

[Yogo Otoko]

Otoko remains silent, but looks at Zashi curiously. She knows well enough the basics of magic and calling on the spirits, but she wasn't quite certain to what end the boy was concentrating.

[Zashi]

Zashi's eye snap back open and points. "Someone just cranked a big fire that way. The made an offer of sochu to the spirits so I'm assuming it's a giant wok or something! Food!"

Zashi practically starts to run in that direction

[Yogo Otoko]

Otoko didn't go faster than was proper. She didn't seem a model of poise, but she was in no rush to make a fool of herself. All the same, she seemed to keep up fairly well, gliding along after the Fox stoically.

[Zashi]

"So, why did you choose to come here instead of finishing your training with your clan?" Zashi calls back

[Yogo Otoko]

Ah, so it was to be called out conversation as they hurried along. Two of Otoko's favorite things rolled into one! She even had to speak in a somewhat normal volume to be heard. "...I am not trained by my clan...besides, I was told to come here. That seems reason enough, yes?"

[Zashi]

"Oh? That seems unusual. Then who trained you?" Zashi spins around, slowing pace but seemingly having no issue walking backwards

[Yogo Otoko]

The eyes in Otoko's mask flitted around behind Zashi to make certain others were paying attention to the backwards walking boy, though thankfully enough, most seemed to see her over him before hand at the least. "Iuchi. Unicorn."

[Zashi]

"Ooh, you're weird then too. I knew there was something I liked about you. Oh oh oh oh are you a shugenja too?" Zashi seems to bounce at the revelation

[Yogo Otoko]

Being called weird seemed to just be taken in stride. Otoko gave no verbal response, merely a slow nod.

[Zashi]

"EXCELLENT! Weird people should to stick together, right?!?" Zashi pauses, propping up a leg, pointing a thumb at themself. "People call me weird, and I fully enjoy it, because that means I do something in a way that people remember. It means I have secrets..." Zashi's smile seems to include a few more canines than it did a moment ago. "And secrets are fun for those who like to unravel them. I am curious to see who tries to unravel me." Zashi offers a wink to the girl.

[Yogo Otoko]

"...I am not so concerned about either being remembered or keeping secrets, but few people wish to... unravel me regardless." She gave a very slight shrug. "...As long as your secrets do not harm the Scorpion, I am not likely to be the one to undo your knots."

[Zashi]

"Aww, I'm sure plenty of people would be happy to unravel you." Zashi chirps.

[Yogo Otoko]

A very, very slight hint of amusement touched the Yogo's voice finally. "...Perhaps. I am not certain they would feel that way for long however."
