Daily Training Events Questions

Just to make sure - the rolls at the Shugenja/ Monk daily training use Ring+1/Ring regardless of whether one takes them as a Shugenja or a Monk, is that correct?

So if that is correct it would only be different for Meishodo Masters taking the test as shugenja, who would roll Artisan: Meishodo/ Ring instead?

And just to double check - if all that is correct, if a Meishodo Master convinces the sensei to take the test as a Monk, he'd roll Ring+1/ Ring instead of Artisan: Meishodo/ Ring then... is that right?

I apologize if this was answered already, but a thought:

If a person has completed 3 Daily Events successfully and chooses to use Courtier-Awareness to convince the sensei to allow them into another of the Daily Events (For example, say Saburo passes 3 daily events with all 3 rolls on days 2, 4 & 6, and chooses on the fourth to use courtier to convince the sensei to allow him into the combat training on day 4 successfully), will they still receive the 3-day special (Friend of the Brotherhood, Bishamon or Touch of Meido, as appropriate) for having completed those 3, or do they still need to remain in their own field of expertise all 4 days?

Also - for Combat Training Daily: If someone has received the +1 to Jiujutsu, for example, on Day 3 for the Hand to Hand demonstration, and then uses Jiujutsu successfully 3 times in Combat training, will they receive the +1 again, or only the once?

(I actually forget if Jiu qualifies as a weapon training. I've heard disparate reports on the subject.)

No, you need to do the exact same training all 4 times to get the 3 of 4 reward.

The "You may only gain this reward once" is event specific. So if on day 2 you gained +1 Juijutsu from the daily combat training, you could still gain +1 Juijutsu from Day 3 Hand to Hand training, but you could not gain +1 Juijutsu from day 4 daily combat training.

Juijutsu does count as a weapon for the daily combat training.

If you have the quick advantage, is there a possibility you would get a higher initiative than your opponent eventually? And if so, would that mean you make 2 attack rolls using a single defense result.

If they go before you in initiative, and your quick eventually overtakes them, you would.

Ashigaru rolls, new defense is 17
Haruki attacks against tn 17

Haruki init 10

Special: On the final iteration of this event, if you have any combination of passing 3 rolls or having your opponent miss on three attacks in 3 of the 4 events (So either you passed at least 3 rolls in both your offense and had your opponent miss you 3 times in 1 defense, or passed at least 3 rolls in one offence and had your opponent miss you 3 times in both your defense, you gain the Bishamon's Blessing Advantage

Matsu Qiang managed to accomplish this in the daily training events ... but he already has Bishamon's Blessing from initial character creation. What should happen?

But the good news is that you can use Courtier: Manipulation to try to get into another daily training and get various other abilities. For example, if you got into courtier training, you could get another rank in a social skill, great potential in a social skill, and potentially Benten's Blessing.

If you get over 15 on the Mediation roll do you get GP: Mediation?

I am assuming no, but rereading it, it could be taken that way.
